DEAD X_X
So my uncle somehow conned me into climbing a mountain. Again. BUT. THIS TIME I MADE IT TO THE TOP. I AM TRES AWESOME. I almost died going up though. And almost gave up a bunch of times. But I put SuJuT on repeat and finished XD
And I took lots of pictures X3
K these are the slugs that covered the lower half of the trails. They were huge. And if you poked them they shrank into a ball and released this clear goop and it was gross. There were so many too and some were stepped on and it was sad D: So on the way down I rolled them off the path with a stick XD
This is a littly itty bitty snake I found along the way. I couldnt resist picking him up and I named him Ayano XD He would curl around my hand whenever Angie tried to take a picture and it took around 4-5 tries before we got one with his head. I put him off in the bush to the side even though I wanted to keep him z___z
THIS DOG. IS SO CUTE. I WANTED TO STEAL HER. I was about halfway up the cliff face and wanting to give up when this little tiny dog comes trotting up the mountain. She sat with me for a while until I got up at which point she would run ahead then look back to see if I was following. She waited til I caught up with her before she ran ahead again and looked back and waited again. She did this til we were almost at the summit and her owner who was already at the top called her. I went in the opposite direction to meet up with my uncle Mal and his gf but when we walked by them again shge came running over to me. So I shared some of my water with her and got a picture. When we walked past her owners down the otherside to a different view she followed again *___* But her owners called her back after a while cause they were leaving z__z I wish I had a dog like that.
This is one part of the trail we had to climb. It sucked. I wanted to die. It went up at a 45 degree angle.
More parts I climbed and you can see in the distance how high I am.
Thats Angie. Or her back rather. That in front of her is a steep drop next to a narrow path we had to walk down to get off the mountain. Im scared of heights so going down was so much worse then going up cause atleast going up I could hide my face by the rocks and not look anywhere but up.
This is the landscape of where I live. I complain about the mountains all the time cause Im a prairie girl but I love the scenery.
This is the top of the mountain. The little people are my uncle Mal and Angie for size reference. Its hard to tell but that winding path in the trees is a road.
This is the view from where they were standing in the last picture. That little red dot is where we started. I feel so accomplished X___X
I LOVE THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE TRAIL. WHILE WE'RE STILL IN THE FORESTED PARTS. BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE I'M IN JURASSIC PARK XD I keep expecting those little Compy's to come running out of the bush 8D
I just thought this tree looked really cool. And tall. They look so pretty when covered in moss z__z
I just love this one cause it looks like a professional took it in some far off jungle and not me and my crappy camera XD Once again Jurassic Park feeling to it with like Brachiosaurs around the corner 8D Yes I love dinosaurs stfu XD
IM SAD THIS ONE CAME OUT BLURRY. Cause it was so pretty D: All down the rock bed there were trees that were leaning across the bottom then ones that were folded over along the top and it just looked so cool. AND MORE DINOSAURS WOULD FIT HERE \o/ Like Raptors hopping along or something XD
This one is to show how big the trees are around here. Cause they are huge D: I stand in front of one and I dont even cover one fourth of the trunk x__x
But yes I climbed a mountain. Felt accomplished. They want me to do it again cause its easier after the first time. I said hell no unless they get me a puppy xD
And I was hoping for some awesome celebratory dinner but we had wild rice and mush >_> And my legs are killing me now but oh well.
And yes my hands are all you'll ever see of myself.
