Movie Review

Door in the FLoor:

This melancholy/love-themed movie was unexpectedly funny. At first it was rough going, as it usually is when one is piecing together new information; like trying to formulate what the plot is doing.

Although ending on a sad note, with the wife leaving, I believe this is not optional because it says something about the life of the kid, Ruthie.

At the end she is pictured with the gardener and her Dad is playing racquetball. This young girl will no doubt grow up to be slightly troubled with maybe even an identity crisis.

Outstanding performance:
A young guy named Jon Foster playing the high school student Eddie.

Note about the film:
If one is uncomfortable with seeing boys masturbate or seeing older women with younger guys sexually, this is not the film for you, as a matter of fact it put me off slightly at first, the way the film baldly moved into the sex scenes but it's refreshing in a way too.

You'll have to see it for yourself to know what I mean. ;D
