Well the crazy thing is this guy was a furry the last time I had spoken to him. He knew I had a fur fetish and he was right decent about talking with me.

HE turned the conversation to focus on my name, not I.

wel you know some peopel get hurt by lille words such as "fetish" and it brings up hurtful things and his was of"defending" himself was by attacking you about it. Maybe yes he reacted with no sence or harshely, but its not like you did much better over him. Both reached equaly bad in my opinion.

He does seem to be attempting to generalize and lump everyone together, when the reality is the furry community is one of the most branched, broad and least defined communities that I know of. There are a few global unifying themes, but like helios said, it is what you make of it. You were quite right, ham, when you said "Why should I need to justify my tastes?" It would be like attacking someone for favoring the color green.

I agree with you leon, closed-mindedness is the bane of society. But sometimes people are brought up that way and there isn't much you can do. Quite odd though, to see a former furry become a furry hater. :(

well first brad was down on that day, so I think honestly we all should be open minded to other "close minded" people as you call. I personally call it growing up to real life and I dont blame you for liking fictional stuff, afterall we all got diferent likings. Just to give my honest and true opinion, I think this journal shows abit of your weakenss about this, this is the old "you hurt me, so now I will tell everyone so everyone who is my friend (or not) sais something bad about you" act. Dont get me wrong, im just showing you my point of view as im graduating in psyichology, just kinda trying to show a diferent point than everyone did

Well, I knew him as a moderately furry person back earlier in 2006. He was a lot easier to talk to and a whole lot nicer. Quite frankly, the way I operate is I react in kind, You poke me in the eye, I poke back. I had no reason to be polite and respectful to someone who jumped down my throat for having the display name "Tails is such a hotness"

People can think what they will, but as soon as they attack me for it? It's on. His IQ didn't drop because of his view of furries in general, his IQ dropped because he developed a 'holier than thou' attitude and smeared it in my face. It's stupid for someone to convert from one religion to another and then make fun of his previous religion.

Anyone who knows me knows that THAT is one of the quickest ways to get on my shit list.

Well me and brad never sufer from akward slience so honestly you dont have to worry at all about us, which I apreciate but its not needed because we always have plenty of fun. Also brad doesnt own a website (i owe it ad we are just showing our art there), and dont forget that drawing furries doesnt make people love one.
