We made the Japanese people in internment camps say the pledge of allegience to the flag. If anyone would appreciate that horribly ironic historical fact I think it'd be you.

in no way was this post intended as a condonement of war. nor was it intended to imply that america is all that is good in the world. the purpose of this post was to recognize the fact that today is veterans' day, and regardless of any political beliefs, the men who fought and died deserved to be remembered - including japanese americans who fought for their country DESPITE what it had done to their families.
