i got a question to all the cooking inclined...

Mar 20, 2005 14:15

okay i bought a lot of food right?...

didn't feel like cleaning out the freezer so i put some chicken wings in the fridge in the crisper drawers. now i look at the package and it says..."keep frozen" now obviously i have not done so..

my question is it alright to eat? or should i just go ahead and throw it out.

How long have they been in there? Chicken should only be refirdgerated for a couple of days...after that, if it stinks, or the blood in the package has turned dark, then you need to throw it away!

And for the record, when in doubt, THROW IT OUT.

Oh wait, the chicken is already cooked?

*I'm confused*

I thought you meant it was like, fresh chicken. If it's cooked chicken, umm, i think it will probably be fine.

*refridgerated
