Rules
Follow the rules or the Hammer Ban Hammer™ is coming down on you.
General
1. Respect. This should go without saying, but we're putting it here anyway. Respect your fellow players. Respect your mods. Respect the game.
2. No godmodding. No controlling another pup's actions without the express permission of the other mun. It's disrespectful, it sucks the fun out of playing, and it's immediate grounds for dismissal. DON'T DO IT.
3. Stay in character. Don't make your character do anything they wouldn't normally do without good reason (and around here there can be any number of reasons - gypsy curses, evil spells, etc.). Clearly mark any OOC comments by ((putting them in parentheses)), or any other way you'd prefer. Bring the conversation over to PMs or the OOC community if they become excessive.
4. Activity. As this is a new game, we require you to be active only once a month. This will change if the game becomes more popular. Please do PM the mods and make a post in the OOC community if you plan to be away for an extended period of time, though.
5. Relax. This game, by nature, is ridiculous. Have a sense of humour. Don't take it too seriously. Have fun!
Application
1. Limit of five (5) characters per player. This may change later at the discretion of the mods.
2. Live action characters ONLY. Sorry, no animated or comic book characters. That's just the way it is.
3. No original characters.
4. AU versions of characters will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you wish to play an AU version of your character, provide an explanation of why you wish to do so in your application.
5. No players OR characters under 18 allowed. Sorry, but this game contains adult concepts.
Format
1. All posts/tags should be written in prose style. Dialogue goes in quotation marks.
2. Tags. Tag all entries with your character name. "Character: Dracula" will do.
3. Title your posts. You don't have to think up something fancy if you don't want to, but at least indicate who the post is open to in parentheses. Example: (open to all/[character name/s]).

Since this is a Hammer Horror-centric game, there is bound to be adult content. In fact, we encourage it. Please stick to the following rules regarding content:
1. Lock all posts containing nudity, sexual acts, and excessive gore. If you're unsure, ask a mod or lock it anyway.
2. Respect the squicks of other players. If you wish to play something sensitive, discuss it with the mun first and set guidelines. Lock anything you feel might offend other players.
3. ABSOLUTELY NO bestiality, pedophilia, noncon, or necrophilia (vampires don't count) allowed. Any sex where one partner is under some sort of outside influence (such as a potion, spell, or hypnosis) is considered dubcon and is okay as long as long as both players agree. Straight-up rape is a no-go. We understand that sometimes you might need to mention these things in-character; if you need to, please do so tastefully.
4. Regarding character death: given the nature of this game, character death is not only plausible, but bound to be something you might want to do for plot purposes. If you are considering character death as a means to turn your pup into a vampire/zombie/ghost/other, please contact a mod and let them know what you have planned. We'll probably approve it as long as your reasons are good, but we like to know about these things beforehand. Permanent character death, however, should be very carefully considered (although there's always resurrection if you change your mind) and discussed with a mod.
