The reason I am NOT sick of Kim Davis is that it is showing anyone else who thinks they can get away with that kind of shit that it is not to be stood for. Nobody will remember her name 5 years from now, but people will remember that trying to use "Natural Law" as an excuse to flaunt and disobey Civil Law will not fly.
I was happy that they were going to crack down on Kim Davis until I read Dan Savage's analysis of the situation, how she's intentionally becoming a "martyr" in order to cash in on right-wing money when she writes her autobiography and goes on their lecture circuit. And THAT made me want to vomit.
My response "Who?" is a slight distortion of reality, since I *have* seen some "Free Brady" stuff around and yesterday had a brief rundown of the situation explained to me by some coworkers, but as of day before yesterday it would totally have been valid.
As it is, haven't been exposed to enough of either to be sick of it.
Have I mentioned how much I don't miss Facebook? (I've barely been on since the little one arrived 6 months ago.)
I don't know how I've managed to avoid it, but I have heard almost nothing about Tom Brady. (I did see a "Free Brady" t-shirt in a shop window about a month ago. It was in the morning, so my fuzzy brain thought, "Huh. Free him from what?"* and then got distracted.
*Don't tell me from what. I don't really want to know. And I am sure it'll come up at the next co-worker birthday lunch anyway. So many of them are into sports-ball. I could weep.

Tom Brady is small potatoes in comparison, imho.
