Thanks! That's actually one thing we don't need...for now, at least. There are a lot of leftover boxes at thespian's that we can use. But if we end up needing more, I'll ask.
I wish we had a way to get the extra basement fridge at our house to you. If there is someone with a truck who would be willing to fannish express it from VA to MA you are welcome to it, but that is likely too much hassle. Caveat: it needs a new handle and the seals could use a good scrubdown, but it is otherwise in good shape.
That's kind of you to offer! I think we'll probably just end up buying something from the local scratch-and-dent of from Craigslist. Easier that way. :-}
When you paint, let me know, so I can try to be there to help. (I assume you will paint it yourself rather than hire painters? Unless you're really busy and have no time to paint, or you have a huge space to paint, or want a super-crisp paint job so you can try to sell the property for top dollar, I don't see that hiring painters would be worth the expense if money is tight. Second and third reasons obviously don't apply here. First reason obviously does, but maybe you can drum up enough help to get the job done quickly.)
Thank you for offering! I am not really sure yet what we will do. I would like to paint the living room, at the very least, but I don't know yet what color(s) to use (though I have an idea or two). I'd kind of like to paint our bedroom, too. Somewhere -- it'll probably turn up during packing -- there's a Totoro wall decal for Xander's room, so maybe I won't paint in there, or will paint just one accent wall. I'll let you know, though!
I would say that our top concern is time, followed by expense (because we need a fridge, rugs, cleaning, and moving guys for the furniture, at least.
