We should move the claw, I think, to somewhere completely outside his reach. Ideally, someplace accessible only through the Nexus. We'll still defend this place as though it were here, but if everything goes wrong and he wins, it will at least be a hollow victory.
*It's a morbid thought, but that tends to be the way she plans--arrange things so the worst possible outcome will still give you something of a win, and build on that.*
And I'm going to need to know what kind of limit on firepower we have to work with.

Ali's right, we should try to trap him. Where's the best place in the castle for an ambush? And where should we send the Claw?

Hans busies himself checking his ammunition. Even if he is not going to try and be out of the way, he would prefer that his weapons be at the ready. He hands one to Ingrid. "For your own protection. If it comes down to it."
Their father had taught her enough to protect herself, determine that his children would all be able to take care of themselves if need be.

If Ingrid is surprised by any of these recent turns of events, she doesn't show it. "I am quite ashamed to admit that we have been collecting these things. I cannot imagine what our ancestors saw in them."
