Chinen tried to tell himself it wasn't totally weird to be counting down the days until the start of the new school year. Every day, without fail, he would take a red marker to draw a single, diagonal line across the small square box on his calender. He would be a third year in Horikoshi High along with Yuuto and Yamada. It was a day he'd been looking forward to since last summer break when he (finally) got together with his boyfriend.
"Hey, Chii, are you home?" A familiar voice echoed through his empty house, and he swung opened his door to see Ryutaro standing in front of his room.
"You're trespassing, Ryu-chan." He glared, but Ryutaro just laughed and kissed him lightly between his brows.
"I texted you, so you already knew I was coming. Why else would you leave the front door unlocked?" The younger boy smirked as he slipped into the room, an arm going around Chinen's waist at the same time. Grinning, Chinen leaned against him, taking comfort in his familiar smell and warmth.
"At least pretend to ring the doorbell like a normal person." Chinen waited for Ryutaro to take a seat on his bed before siting next to him to lay his head on his lap. He closed his eyes as Ryutaro ran his fingers through his hair, enjoying the light touching and stroking. "Hurry up, will you?"
"For what?" Chinen looked up to see Ryutaro frowning.
"Graduate," Chinen said quietly. He reached up and palmed Ryutaro's cheek gently. The younger boy covered his hand over with his own, his eyes soft. "Hurry up and graduate, so you can join me."
"I know." Ryutaro propped him up, so he was sitting in his lap instead and held his back against his chest. His arms came out in front and Chinen clasped their hands together, smiling at the heat seeping through. "Then we can do this every single day, right?"
Chinen giggled as Ryutaro pecked his cheek and snuggled closer. "And Ryu-chan can feed me lunch every day too. I'll keep all the bullies and girls away from you. In return, you can let me sleep on your shoulder and use your jacket as a blanket. Oh, don't forget, you have to call me 'senpai' and do whatever I tell you," Chinen added smugly.
"Only if you act like one." Ryutaro rolled his eyes, placing his chin on Chinen's shoulder and pressing their cheek together. "You know what you say makes no sense?" Chinen blushed, feeling Ryutaro's breath brush teasingly against his nape. "I haven't even graduated yet, and you're already so demanding, senpai."
A/N: Based on TV Pia, in which Chinen wrote a note/message to Ryutaro, which translates roughly as: To Morimoto-kun: Ryutaro-kun will be a high schooler next year, so if I happen to be his senpai in the same school, I'll be looking forward to having fun with him!
