Rush Limbaugh detained for drug possession in the Dominican Republic.I rather enjoy this guy's humiliation, but I'm not the least bit zealous about the damn drug war. But the problem is this fat sleaze has probably done more than anybody (before he got popped) to get Republicans in office who have kept the drug war going ( Read more... )

Actually he was interviewed and let go to continue on his trip, though I'm sure air america will be talking about this for the next six months straight. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand rush limbaugh, but people are chomping at the bit a little too early on this one.

If it turns out the only drug he was carrying was Viagra, maybe I agree with you. But if he is carrying oxycontin again, I don't think this can be played up enough. The damage Limbaugh has done to the country is THAT extensive.

Homeless veterans, tax breaks for the rich, soaring deficits, and a coward in the White House. I don't like your version of America and I have the right to say so...err until Republicans take that away and give it to the rich.

Typical, the RepubliChristians only get ruffled if its a Democrat getting a BJ from a consenting adult. Of course, if "drug addicts" were actually treated like Rush has vocally advocated, then Rush would have been promptly euthanized.
