that conversation at the end definatly was awesome. and i was thinking about it, and its really rare for those to happen with that many people in the room, its useually one on one, and the most i'd ever had was three in it. four was a new record!

I think that the only reason that conversation worked out was that we are all awesome. That is the only explanation I can think of. I really wish those kind of talks would happen more often, it was pretty fly and I didn't know about a lot of that stuff you guys were talking about. I felt infinitely cooler and better informed after it was over.

Oh my god you don't even know, I was carrying around a stack that was literally up to my chin... :)

-I ended up getting an interesting looking book by the Dalai Lama about compassion and wisdom-yes I am a dork, but The Art of Happiness was a really good book and I think the Dalai Lama is quit the pimp...

-The Kon Tiki which is about Thor Hyerdohl's (sp?) voyage across the pacific on a wooden raft, I'd read about him and he seems pretty neat

-I also got a book by Archie Carr, the title escapes me at the moment but Carr is the man that basically started Sea Turtle conservation in Latin and South America...he was pretty rad

and finally I got a book about the Cherokee just because.
