I colording a pikshure
I have a new project I've been working on when I have the time.
I liked the comic that this came from, and that is kinda the "climax" so to speak and I thought it was pretty. So I'm basically coloring it in
It kinda sucks not having photoshop and having to use GIMP instead. I couldn't figure out a way to make the original lineart transparent, so what I did was have the lineart be the opaque background, make a transparent layer over that, basically fill it all in with that light blue sky color, and then set the opacity low enough that I could see the lineart underneath it. Then I erased the blue color where it shouldn't be (the flowers, the people, text boxes, etc). And I am basically doing the same thing with the flowers in the background. Reminds me of chiseling.
If I end up doing a good job on it and it turns out nice, I might do http://gallery.gensokyo.org/displayimage.php?album=190&pos=53 too xD
