The last couple days I wrote something.  Then I attempted to add pictures to it.  LJ didn't like it and erased my entry in the process.  Probably user error in the mix, but their autosave feature doesn't exactly appear to be doing its job.  As such, it's ended in a couple of days worth of frustration.Of course then there is exhaustion.  Saturday ( Read more... )

Looking so fancy!

Sorry about your nonsense fridge. Depending on how much you were thinking of spending, I might suggest the Barclay Travel card if you want to look at getting another line of credit. You get rewards toward travel but instead of skymiles or whatever it's just a straight up rebate towards anything that counts as a travel expense (so airfare, cruise stuff probably, maybe rental cars?). When I got mine they were offering a ton of bonus miles once you hit some amount, and it was what I was already going to pay for my Scrum cert, so I did that, paid it off immediately, and then got those points plus the bonus points. You also get 10% back if you choose to take the travel credit (vs cashing out the rewards) so that helped a bit too. Granted, spending money blows regardless and it's not like you're going to get your whole vacation for free or whatever, but every bit helps if you're responsible for the card.

I love my REI visa and try and put all my big purchases on it. Alas, most of the house remodeling we did last year is still on that card and killing me softly to this day.
Lowe's has a pretty good deal (6 months, same as cash), and I'll just get to round up a new table saw (Kristin won't let me use the death trap I currently own), and all of the yard materials for the yard at the same time.

I got into the habit of hitting CTRL-A when I type entries and comments into LJ. I still remember the burn (not that kind of burn) from typing something and then having it disappear.

What kind of bike race are you doing?

I've just started typing them in word or evernote and ctrl-c/ctrl-v on over to LJ. Works out, but I dislike the extra steps :P.
