We're watching Ghosts as it airs, rather on iPlayer, where we could binge the lot if we wanted to, so I've only seen the first two. Kitty deciding she must be pregnant was very sweet, and I loved Mike's nightmare at the start. We're trying to savour the episodes, as there's only the Christmas special after this.
Yes, the North/South thing was funny, because they were both throwing stereotypes around. There are quite big differences between the two areas, and a lot of not-very-latent hostility towards the (pampered) south from, well, pretty much every other part of the country. There is no trace of a Scots accent in Thomas, BTW. I rather liked his crediting the poem to Fanny too - at last he's finding a little humility.
Yes, Kitty's sympathetic pregnancy was so cute! As was her horror at realizing that everyone who had children must've done That XD Kitty is such a darling! She is one of the characters I will miss the most.

Hee, you are the second UK flister to assure me of that, and I will take your word for it! :P (I do know, intellectually, about the differences and, tensions, I guess? between North and South, but Pat and Julian's dialogue was just a bunch of words that were coming across as either "no idea what that is" or "general UK thing" to me, so I couldn't appreciate it at all. Which is fair enough, of course :)

Yes! incremental growth! Go, Thomas! :)
(looks like all my Ghosts icons live on DW only, so have my general UK one...)
