Yes, there is a way, although it's been a while since I've done it. Try looking for ff.net's help pages, I'm sure they must have some.

If I remember correctly you have to upload a new document, which you can then edit (if you haven't already edited it in Word or wherever) and then you go to your story and click edit, and replace the current story/chapter with the new document. *Don't* delete anything first, that'd lose you all your feedback.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Part of the problem is that these were all very clean and nice when I published them in fanzines years ago, but things like punctuation and section divisions were lost when it was posted, and I didn't realize it until it was too late. Plus some of them are quite old now and I'd like to touch them up a little to fit within the on-going storyline I developed later.

Update: Well, that didn't work...there is no help/FAQ page that I can find. I've emailed Support and asked but I haven't had much luck in the past getting any response from them so I'm not holding my breath. Wow, this sucks.

I've had a quick look on ff.net and it looks like you need to do this:

1. Upload the documents for the changed stories/chapters.

2. Go into "stories", click "edit" next to the one you need to change, go into "content/chapters" and look at the "replace chapter" section at the bottom.
