Hello everyone! I wish you a happy new year, and hope you all enjoyed your Chrismas holidays.
Once again I took too many pictures... So I prepared for you a little selection of my favorite ones =3 And once again, it was really hard to make a choice!
A canal's view.
Another one, on a foggy day. This tree looks scary, isn't it?
Bruges from the Belfort. It was really hard to go upstairs, but this view worthed it!
The stairs of the Belfort. It's very opressive when you are stuck between two floors, you just see stairs, and it seems like it will never end.
The belfort by night.
The Minnewater park. Minnewater meens lake of love, maybe that's why you see me and my boyfriend's shadow on the other bank =3
A random street. I love the architecture of this little city, I find it so peaceful. My boyfriend told me that it really looks like Amsterdam, but I never went there, so I cannot compare :/
Clouds.
There really are awesome tea rooms in Bruges, with a great choice of pastries and drinks. This picture has been taken in a little tea room in front of Bruges's theater, and my pastry (a miserable) was really excellent. We also went to the Prestige which is very Laduree-like, in the colors of the decoration and the menu selection. I hadn't took a bite of their macarons, but their tea was really tasty.
There is a great tea shop near the markt. The man who is in charge of his shop is really kind, and it's a real pleasure to hear him talk about his tea creations ^^. If one day you travel in Bruges, let me know, I must give you this adress.
My boyfriend walking. I would've been better without the car and the crowd, but still, I like this picture.
And last but not least, my favorite one:
I also took pictures of more famous places, but I don't really like them. Those pictures totally reflects how I saw Bruges: a mysterious city frozen in the fog, with lots of hidden charms.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed my trip.
