!!ATTENTION COSPLAYERS!!I need advice. I'm going to be switching concealers (make-up) and I want something thats good for convention heat and tiredism. The number one thing I hate about my photos is that I always have dark circles under my eyes by the end of the con day because all the make up has MELTED off my face. I used both liquid and powder ( Read more... )

I scrub the living hell out of my face with this and drink an ungodly amount of water 24/7.

Then I use Mary Kay liquid foundation and powder + chapstick and Victoria's Secret lipgloss. Sometimes I use mascara or eyeliner, but not usually.

I've been drinking water more which helps a lot with my skin problems, but buh sometimes I get so impatient.

I actually have the exact same problem! Using stage makeup is a great idea, though (I'm gonna try it next time) because it stays on under the hot lights of the theatre so you'll know it sticks well. A tip though is to instead of rub the powder on over the foundation press it on so it stays on even better.

Bare Minerals powder. That shits amazing. It only really works if you have clear skin to begin with though.

I dont know though...It all really lies on what type of skin you have, do you need a concealer like, heavy duty do to blemishes, or just to slightly help with the tone of your face?

Yeah, I don't have a lot of blemishes but my skin isn't as nice as I'd like it to be. We have different skin types. DX

It's the best line I've seen so far, they used it on Baywatch (the full body makeup) and it seriously does not come off in water. I tried it myself and I had to shave to get it off. I have the matte velvet liquid foundation. I like them the best because they made it without a lot of pink pigment in it, because my skin is yellowy-pigmented. Thumbs up. This coming from someone who wears makeup every day. I would use a liquid foundation (applied with a brush) and then a powder to finish it. They also have CRAZY ass pigments for your eyes/cheeks or whatever decoration that would be really good for cosplay.
Just ask me if you need any suggestions.

Quick question, out of the products offered in the catalog what would you suggest? Like the Extreme Camouflage Cream?

honestly coz i know its tested for photos, use some studio finish concealer from MAC and if you need a fuller coverage foundation look into studio fix fluid

the powder isnt good for photos but the fluid is, and set with ablot powder

alos when you get the concealer try to get one in a NW shade so the peachy undertone will cancel out any darkness

if you have any other questions, LMK i do this for a living =3
