This is great, especially since this summer has been hot. x_x I can totally relate to Hikaru and Akira.

Hikaru laughed. "Oh, go wash your hands. It's almost three o'clock and I just heard a vehicle drive up. We can play go and hope against hope that by the time we're finished, everything will be fixed. Doesn't that sound good?" I think I'm just being nitpicky, but "vehicle" sorta sounds a bit too fancy for Hikaru to be saying. ^^; He'll probably say "car", ne?

"Don't worry, Touya. Even with the long hair and the red lips, you still don't look like a girl." *raised eyebrow* I wouldn't be so sure about it, Hikaru. ^_^

"You're supposed to *get* hot and sweaty, not already *be* hot and sweaty." Much love for this line. Mmm. ^^

The omakes are fun too! Hee, poor Waya.

I didn't want to take this to the point that a lot of people take popsicle stories... just the phallic reference is enough to get the idea across... it doesn't need to be written with blow-job imagery accounting for 90% of the body of the story. That gets boring after a while. x_x

Honestly, Akira was one of the few characters in anime that always struck me as having this hidden vein of masculinity. And, especially when he gets older, the haircut looks out of place on him because his face has matured a lot into, well, more of a guy's face. (I have a HikaAki desktop image taken from one of the later color pages of the manga... and, yeah, they're both really hot in a very guy sort of way.)

I like the idea of an uncomfortable Hikaru mumbling to himself. ^_^

I want to torture Waya some more, so one of the upcoming parts may very well be a go party. ^_^ We'll see.

I really, really hate summer. A lot. I am still a Yankee girl at heart, despite living in the South. I am originally from upstate New York where summers are reasonable. Yes, it gets warm. It may even get hot on a few days, but there's none of this 100% humidity without a rainstorm. That's where the stickiness comes in. *dies* Thankfully, temperatures dropped yesterday out of the hundreds and into the 70's. I was so thankful.

I'm glad you're still enjoying this. I'm going to grab breakfast real quick and then start on the next part, so it should be up in a few hours. ^_^ Thanks!

Great story. XD I can just see them suffering in the summer heat. And the hand-washing makes Akira even more of a clean-freak. =]

This was an ode to the fact that the 100 degree days that were happening in my part of the US changed over to 78 degree days yesterday which, really, was much appreciated. I don't enjoy feeling like an ice cube in the microwave. *dies*

I think that only people who can see past his go-face-of-doom can appreciate his tempestuous nature and utter sexiness. *glomps Akira*
