Y'know... I'm just glad that I decided to put Waya in this chapter. Once I decided that, the rest of it came together pretty easily. And, yeah. Junk food. I figure he doesn't indulge often... much like Kaidoh of PoT... just so he doesn't have to exercise.

This isn't nessecarily wrong. It's just a little awkward. I suggest "get a glimpse of himself". Again, not nessecary, it just flows a little better.
Other than that, you've once again managed a damn near flawless piece. I really like how you took a moment to go over how Akira feels about it all. Waya and Akira friends? Interesting, heh. But I would imagine it's inevitable, as I'm working on that in my fic as well. XD Very nice, still waiting for the super smut. ^.~ Keep me waiting, but feed me fic in the process!

I figured that Hikaru had his moment in the last omake. ^_^ I can see Waya and Akira becoming friends only after there's more... exposure, I guess? Because since Akira is such a good player, he very quickly goes beyond Waya's league in go, but regardless of anything else, they have at least go in common which is something they're both fond of... so it had to happen. ^_^ The super smut will arrive, eventually... and, in the meantime, I'll be trying my best to continue with one post a day. Friday may prove difficult, but we'll see. ^_^ I'm glad you liked this, and thank you for the comments. *grin*

Somehow, i just can't imagine him having a heart-to-heart about this stuff with Ogata. Not that Ogata would mind...
I think that's the only reason I had Hikaru in this fic... for that line. Otherwise, I think it was just fine without him for this part... because I got to write Waya! *hugs Waya tightly*
I think if Akira had a heart-to-heart with Ogata, Ogata would have to excuse himself to go jerk-off in the bathroom, honestly. He's such a perv. But I love him too, sometimes. ^_^
Aww poor Waya.. he doesn't seem to get a lot of focus in the series and he's not on the same level with Hikaru and Akira *pat pat* He needs more love.. him all alone with his hentai.. which Hikaru is making fun of him for. *brightens up* Maybe Isumi could stop by?
How odd that it's Hikaru's fault they're eating healthy. Oh well - it's cute though. I could just see Waya's expression when he heard about the microwave comment. And the whole convo with Waya was hilarious... I could just picture it..

It's nice that you brought Waya into this story though. I honestly don't think he'd hate Akira if he actually sat down with him - it seems more like resentment. Akira's not a bad guy and Waya wouldn't hold it against him if he knew him a bit better.

I would like to have Waya/Isumi interaction in this fic at least once, and I just might in a later part. We'll see. ^_^
I figured that once Hikaru really learned to cook, he would be proud to show it off instead of buying something instant. Plus, they did a study of two-year-olds where they let them eat whatever they wanted to. After less than two weeks of eating essentially nothing but junk food they started eating healthier all by themselves. So, I figure the same thing applies with Hikaru's life.
I think Waya definitely resents Akira, probably mostly because of his age and his stand-offishness. It's like how in aishuu's "Brightly Burning", despite Hikaru also being a brilliant player, he has friends while Akira doesn't because he is open to having them.
Akira wouldn't last without him. *hugs the whole Hikago cast*

I think this one was one of my favorites. You captured Waya's voice spot on and I loved the interatction between him and Touya.
