I almost died for real here. I was eating, and it almost ended up everywhere, including lodged in my throat. ^.~
But all in all, this entire fic is just *dies* in general, and I hope to see more AkiHika/HikaAki coming from you, as your style is something I definately love.
Also, just a sidenote you might like, i just spent the last 5 hours reading Hikago fics, and none of them excite me like this one. You should feel accomplished. ^.^;
I've already done one Hikaru-Tells-Akira-About-Sai piece... Names. If I do another, it'll be vastly different, though I'm not certain I want to do one for this universe... perhaps a side-fic from afterward, though...
The flawlessness surprises me here as I didn't look over it *at all* before posting. But, the entire time I was writing it, I was being careful because I didn't want to screw up the final part. ^_^
I'm certified in emergency first aid, so I'll be happy to provide the Heimlich. *grin*
I definitely want to write more of this pairing because I really adore writing about them. They've grown on me tremendously to the point that I make at least one obscure go-related reference per day now. ^_^ But, I'm also a dork...

The match going on between Hikaru and Akira was world-class. Both men had played a lot of games in their lives, but were now going above and beyond all of that with a game that had brought a tear to Touya Kouyo's eye... something his son's wedding hadn't even done.

Aww at last, everything must start with and end with Sai. It's such a sweet wedding present.
Oh, and Isumi should just tell Waya to move in with him.

Sai is such an integral part of Hikaru's life even after he's gone... I had to throw that in there. It was one of the things I was planning as soon as the end of this fic was in sight.
I may write a Waya/Isumi fic in this series. It keeps asking for it. ^_^
When I'm in the mood to write, I write. This story was just compelling for me to write, so I kept at it until, finally, it seemed like I didn't need to write any more of it... for now.
I am planning a one-year anniversary fic in this, and possibly a Waya/Isumi as well. I have several Prince of Tennis fics on the burner... and a yuri Fushigi Yuugi piece in the back of my head. Lately I haven't gone more than a week or so without writing something, so just keep an eye out. ^_^
