I was very tempted to put in a line like the following: "Takumi, unlike Natsuki, had chosen a sugar daddy that he could actually get it up for... and had on several occasions. Natsuki's saving grace had been the lack of anything to get up."

*grin* But, that would have been too comical for this piece. I may, however, revisit this idea with what would be a pure comedy piece. ^_^

Had it been any other pairing, any other fandom, any other "stage" of Initial D, that line would not have worked. But, I love it! Thank you for reading, and definitely check out my others because, hey, there's smut! *grin*

*hugs* I recommend the anime and manga about equally, although the anime has cool music and good voice actors, but the manga is a easier to download because of its smaller sized files.

Oh dear god, you are so brilliant. With the "sugar daddy" line, you've made me understand why the mangaka bothered with the whole Natsuki thing-- it was all just a literary device intended to echo and underscore Takumi/Ryosuke. I don't know why I never saw it. Thank you! Gonna go read whatever other fics you have lying around.
