Design Dilemma.

My room in Manila is too big. I want to put some sort of hemp-ish area rug on the floor to make it cozier, but mom won't let me put any rug. I told her that the furniture needed to be stained a darker color but she said no, sigh. So I'm stuck with these pieces and no idea how to turn the corners into something cool. No idea for art pieces either.

hana hana hana! what's your style? like personal style? this is actually how i imagined your room to be... contemporary asian.. hahaha.. you can put an area rug naman eh.. like sa may bench mo. that would be reeeally nice. and parang maganda kung ipaint mo one wall. or even all walls, para hindi siya boring.. i'm thinking red. hahah.. not vampire red ah.. pero parang american flag red.. your sofa with the ottoman, put pillows, siguro 2 plain tapos 1 may pattern pero hindi yung sobrang PATTERN cause mapattern na sofa mo. add different kinds of square/rectangular picture frames on top of your.. i dunno, bed? how big is your room anyway??irepaint mo yung walls mo kung puwede.. haha. parang mas nicer kung ibang color. pero kung hindi, okay lang, just accessorize it. put pillows on your future area rug too. like big nice pillows. :D
