Raul has been an icon for me, as well as many others.
While I'm devastated that he left I can do nothing but thank him for being the most amazing player, captain, and person and for making me interested in the greatness that is Real Madrid.
All I can say is that I am thankful for him for showing what a footballer should be.
I am just happy I had the opportunity and privilege to watch him play once.
Excuse me while I get nostalgic
I hope he has nothing but happiness and success in the future!
