You're simply the best!

Today the youngest member of Kanjani8 turns 25, and it's going to be celebrated!

Ohkura Tadayoshi:
Is, and will most likely stay, my number 1 Johnny's boy!
(tied with Shige of course)

Today it is his birthday and since he is my ichiban, there is no way in hell that this post won't be long. So, I've warned you, now feel free to read on.

He wasn't much to look an when he was a junior, but he came back with revenge!

♥He's something between ugly and cute with those buck teeth of his.♥

Let's quickly return to today!

Tacchon is a great dancer, a even better singer and a good actor!
And not to forget! He is a very talented musician, mainly playing his drums (which he does looking OH so sexy), but he can also play the piano and guitar. Like many other Johnny's he also writes his own lyrics! ♥♫♪♫

All in the very sexy package that is his body. *drools*

He is “The Johnny” to quote Yoko.

And maybe that's why he reaches so high! At least in my personal mind-list.
There is simply nothing not to like about him... Even when he struggles and complains he's cute, besides he's obviously been improving on that point.

(Even though I don't know that for a fact, this is based on interviews with eito.)

All the lovelies~!

It seems lately not even the members can find anything to complain about. The exception being his drinking perhaps. He is secretly hardworking (according to members), honest and very laid back. He loves to cook, and then it eat of course as two of his greatest passions in life is food and sleep. Even though I've heard that he stays up late playing games a lot lately... (please be careful with your health Tacchon!). Also, quite randomly he loves to wash clothes and does so every day, because he loves the smell.
(I just found my soul mate right here!)

So, he really, really loves to eat.

...And sleep.

And then eat some more.

In other words. He's more or less a dog.

If we are to talk about all his good points (which we will, because this is my B-day post to him) the first one that I'll discuss is his voice.♥

Ohkura has one of my favorite voices in all JE, and I'm not saying this because I love him (at least that's not the only reason...), but he really has a a wonderful, both singing and speaking voice. There is something about it that drags you in, and when I haven't heard his voice or a certain song (talking about Ohkura's parts) I can sometimes feel like I've missed hearing it. It makes me calm somehow. No offense Uchi, but in regards to Ohkura getting more chances to sing after you left, I'm kinda glad it happened. He just didn't get the attention he deserved in the beginning of K8. (If you want proof watch Tacchon's Shounen Club Premium.)

It's hard to explain why you love a certain sound, but at least I know that I love it. The fact that he can sing so differently is also amazing. Just listen to him singing in “Carnival” and you'll know what I mean. Or those squealing absolutely adorable sounds he can make (see live version of “Kanfuu Fighting” or “Obachan Rock”). Not to mention his erotic huffs in “No-no-no”!
*drifts off daydreaming*

His laugh is also countered for in this category, and damn! When I hear the sound of that I just can't help smiling. It is very contagious (and I agree with you Tacchon, I think watching TV with you would be fun). One of my favorite clips of Ohkura is from the K8 special drama making, when he and Yoko is having a break and the clapper says “clap” while he claps. This of course makes Ohkura crack up totally, and the whole thing is one of the cutest things I've ever seen.♥
(If you haven't watched it I dearly recommend it! Everything in it is practically pure awesomeness!)
*Thinks back to Subaru's 'sloshy' stomach and starts smiling.*

Ehem, I apologize, I'm getting off topic so I'll summarize.
In simple words; his whole sound repertoire is lovely.

Then what next? Let's take a look at his acting career shall we?

Tacchon is together with Ryo and Yoko a member who has had enough of roles in dramas for me to determine that he is talented. He might not be as good as Ryo, but honestly not many Johnny's are.
^__^'''

Here are some short comments on Ohkura's different works as an actor:

Kowai Nichiyobi (2000)
I've seen it, but there really isn't much of Ohkura. But the Yassu glomps Ohkura moment was fun!

Cinderella ni Naritai! (2006)
This is by far his ugliest character... And I'm not talking about the guy who plays the ugly character in this drama. No, I mean it. Seriously Tacchon, what happened to you during this drama? Some scenes it was almost painful to watch. OK, I'm exaggerating, but still! Anyway, this special is really funny, and I think it's something well worth seeing (more than once). I really like it!

Gekidan Engimono Intelligence as Hajime (2006)
I've only seen snippets of this one! I can't find it with subs anywhere! Please if anyone knows anything! HELP!

Kemarishi (2006)
SPOILER ALERT! (But I bet everyone has seen it already anyway.) Ohkura plays the villain all too rarely in my opinion! Even though he isn't in that “evil” character for the most part of this drama, he is still epic and bad ass! Of course seeing Ohkura in a wheelchair was also interesting. He doesn't have the greatest hairstyle, but watching him do wire-action with that tall lean body of his is... Well, let's just say that I like it even though it's very simple. Yoko is excellent in it too!
(And the making!! Like I said, a must see!)

Double (2006)
Not much to say about this since his part is to say the least: small. But bratty drummer Tacchon is still worth watching. Maru and of course the lead Subaru does a very good job in this. If you haven't seen it, you should. (But the making is even better than the drama!)

Utahime (2007)
JAMES! I tell you now, Tacchon is very much capable of fun characters! Most of his acting roles are kind of prince-like characters. (Just look at the following drama in this list). So seeing this really just made me love him even more. It was a great drama, and the end was unexpected but very good. I love every second of James/Student-san and I sometimes re-watch my favorite scenes. Such as Ohkura getting violated by an Obachan, rebelling without a cause and just the random flailing. This drama really got better for every episode and if you like Ohkura, this is something you can't miss!
(I also like Nagase a lot in this drama!)

Yasuko to Kenji (2008)
Like I mentioned before, in this drama Ohkura is very much like a prince. He's the crush of our lead actress and the younger brother of the lead actor's secret admirer. Got it? Well, let's just say that Tsubaki Jun, which is the name of Tacchon's character, is pretty much perfect. Smart, kind, righteous and of course unbelievably handsome. I like him, but seeing Yasuko swoon over Jun is almost embarrassing. (Especially all the sparkles and weird dreams). But Matsuoka who is the lead is very fun to watch and Jun's admiration for him is epic. Something else to look out for in this drama is Yassu beating the crap out of Ohkura (Well, more or less). It's a lot of fun!

Hissatsu Shigotonin (2009)
I want to see this, and the 2007 version, but I can't find it with subs... That sucks, because I really like Genta. (That is the name of Ohkura's character right?)

HOT DAMN! *dies*

ROMES (2009)
OMG! This drama really isn't that great. The only good things about it is Ohkura and Yassu... Basically. But they both look good, and watching Yassu fail as Sunamura is just pure awesomeness! If you want a handsome (but very thin), serious/own-pace, dog-loving, smart, English-speaking Tacchon this is where you find it. Ohkura contra Yassu is really all that this drama was about for me, but those moments are enough to make it worth watching (in my opinion). Even though you might wanna strangle yourself thanks to the worst fighting scenes in history.

Yuya and his dog!

Well well, maybe not as many prestigious mentions as Ryo, but still I enjoy most of Ohkura's acting very much. I can't wait for the movie (Nino vs Ohkura!!)! I've read the first two volumes of the manga (Oohku; The inner Chambers) and I'm really exited about it! I'll definitely see it when it comes up in cinemas, just imagine seeing and hearing Ohkura in a movie theater. *chills* (One of many benefits of moving to Tokyo in two months!) I just wonder how much he'll actually be in the movie, because the role he plays doesn't really have that much time in the manga. Maybe they'll change around since it's only based on the manga, who knows, I'll see it anyway!

I really wish he got more offers to act, I've heard something about him playing a nurse in a drama this summer, but I'm not sure if it's official yet... In any case, I like seeing Ohkura on the screen and I want more!

Oops, I almost forgot! Stage-plays counts too!
I just want you all to know that Ohkura in Tackey's ”Takizawa Enbujou” (the Yoshitsune part) is one of the greatest things I've ever seen!

♥BENKEI IS LOVE!♥

Green Ranger is of course also pure love!

We love Guurin!

Unconditionally, no matter age nor... sex?

(Okan is ♥, especially with Ohkura's butt looking like it does in those green sweats!)

Now when we have his whole life's acting covered, I'll move on. Next up is dancing and preforming! I won't rant on much here, it's better to just see it for yourself. Tacchon has one heck of a body and he know how to use it! So in addition to his wonderful voice we also get amazing movements! This is basically what all Johnny's do and I'm not saying he's the best one at it, but when Tacchon moves my eyes sure as hell don't! They stay fixed onto that screen making sure not to miss anything that is Ohkura.

The calmer songs are of course also great, take “Mamoritai” for example! Very simple but very good. He might use some moves more frequently *thinks about his hand* but I never tire of them, so it's okay. (=^_^=)

Then last but very much not the least, HIS DRUMMING! I'm not sure I've ever seen anything so sexy as when Tacchon handles those drumsticks! While he's at it Tadayoshi is a joy to both watch and listen to!

Then except from all these talents there is undoubtedly his looks to love. Ohkura Tadayoshi is one hot man I tell you! He might not have looked like much in the beginning (although cute), but now there really isn't many that can rival him in good looks. Tall and handsome with a sexy nose and a long neck (and that thick hair of his)! Just some of the good things that I like in his appearance.

But how in a better way tell you why I find him attractive than to show you!

Still the thing that dragged me in was his whole presence, his personality. It was all the other things that got me interested, but it was his sweetness, frankness, dorkiness and sometimes complaining that got me addicted and made Ohkura climb up the levels of love very rapidly!

No, there is only one thing that I can think off that I don't like about Ohkura... and that is the last kanji in his name! Really, could it be anymore complicated to write? It's just that last character! I love his name and I think it suits him really well, not to mention all the good nicknames that comes out of it, but did it really have to be that hard!? How should a mere fan-girl from Sweden cope with this!?!

(Not even Ohkura himself can write it very nicely!)

大倉忠義 ← FUCKIN' HATE IT!

Oh well, at least it looks good written on the computer.... =_='''

On a side-note... (not really) RyOhkura is another thing that I can't leave unmentioned. The TORN-love is just too fantastic! Tacchon x Ryo is my favorite pairing (once again tied with KoyaShige) and most of the fanfics I write are about these two lovely people. So I just wanted to share a few pictures:

Now only one thing remains to say and that is:

お誕生日おめでとう大倉
HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY TACCHON!

Keep being your wonderful self! I'll always love you!♥

I hope you've enjoyed reading! ^w^
The pictures have been edited from their originals.
