BTW, bear in mind that if you're bringing your laptop back to the US, that Customs has the right to seize and hold onto your laptop for as long as they deem appropriate in order to scan the data and/or make copies of all materials. Just a heads up. Welcome back to the gulag.

Yeah, I know all about that. It's so insane. I do plan on bringing it anyway, though, and hoping no one decides to hassle a nerdy-looking 5'5 jewish boy with glasses on vacation from Japan. O_o From what I've read, it's seemed to usually be people that, because of their anti-bush(totalitarianism?) activism, found themselves on the terrorist watch list thing. So hopefully they won't seize my main source of communication and entertainment indefinitely?
