how the hell do you manage to go to canada and not blow all of your money? friends? dumpster diving? magic ponies?

also I am never going to canada w/out cold hard cash, but favorite money changer in vancouver is forced to move. bah.

The canada thing, I think it's mostly just friends because I can stay with them. I pay for my travel but for the most part I don't do very many expensive things when I am there.
