Bad casting?

Is anyone else going to be following the "new HYD"? The cast seems...unappealing

It really doesn't seem necessary. Which was why I was wondering if anyone would follow it.

not exactly a new hyd,its set after 10 years since f4 graduated n hyd final.so this drama has f5 n the lead heroin pretends to be a rich girl tho she's poor and i dont exactly like it coz makino was loved by everyone coz even tho she was poor she had so much self respect and never bowed down to anyone.

Please note that I wrote "new HYD" in my original post. While it is not a remake of the series, it is very much a part of it and is riding on the tails of success it had. Its not a spin off but a continuation. Like a new season in an old show.

im not entirely happy with the casting cause they are relatively new faces.before hyd mao was so famous because of kids war and oguri shun was popular too n jun was in dramas etc and could easily bring in viewers but im very skeptical abt hana nochi hare,even the guy whos supposed to be the good one looks dull but i think maybe sho n hana may have a good chemistry.im sure people will compare them and im having low expectations.

Yeah. I was hoping everything would just stay a rumor, but now that more and more and more is coming out on it, I groan. HanaDan was great because of the cast and it's release timing. This doesn't look like it could hold at all. You can't have new faces break out in a famous remake. They need to stand on their own first.

i agree with u,atleast they should have taken a toptier actor from the new generation:( n sugisaki hana looks bad with short hair:-
