The Best Birthday

016. Quiet Places, Yesung/Ryeowook
With the bright light at my eyes, I couldn't help but to wake up. This was, in my life, a weird way to wake up. Usually, the place would be so loud with laughter and yelling from the members upstairs that that was normal . Yesung, Kibum, Siwon, Kyuhyun, Sungmin and I had the downstairs apartment, and everyone else was above us. Basically, loud people upstairs with quiet people below. I would hear thumping of feet and the whinning of Heechul to Hangeng for food along with the loud laughter. But it was a quiet place upstairs today, I guess. That or they're hungover.
Rolling over, I found Yesung in my bed. My roommates were Kyuhyun and Siwon. It wasn't a bad thing to see him, just surprising. I looked over to find the other 2 beds empty. That was odd.
"Surprise, Sunshine."
I jumped a little. Yesung was looking at me with those cute, dark eyes. He chuckled a little at the expression on my face.
"Sorry, I thought you knew I was wake. Didn't mean to scare you."
"It's ok. I was just wondering where Kyuhyun and Siwon are."
He grinned. "Aww, you'd rather I not be here then?"
I grinned to, slapping him lightly on his arm. "Seriously, though, where are they?"
Now he was looking confused. "You mean, you don't remember last night?"
I stared at the ceiling trying to remember.
I remembered a lot of laughing, singing, and then some drinking. It was blurred though.
I turned to him. "I don't remember much."
He laughed his cute little laugh. "I wouldn't blame you. Here's a hint, it was your birthday."
The word brought back a flash of memories flowing through my head. Yesung came home with me yesterday, and as we opened the door, everyone was there screaming "Surprise! ~ Happy Birthday!". Then some laughing, hugs, and cake with seaweed soup. I didn't feel like remembering details. Then I remembered...
How Yesung got in my bed.
They said they had a special gift for me, and then all left. I was really confused. Then I turned around to see Yesung was still sitting where he was, smiling. He stood up and unbuttoned his dress shirt. The under shirt said "Special Gift". He laughed at my expression, then came closer to hug me. "Happy Birthday", he whispered softly in my ear. The rest of the night was... "the best birthday."
"Your welcome." Yesung said, still smiling.
I didn't realize I said that out loud. I could feel my blush.
He chuckled again, then grabbed my face and brought it closer to his into a slow melting kiss.
After a few seconds, he let go and look me in the face.
"I'm going to go make breakfast now, you stay here." he said, grunting as he got up. He looked really sore. I felt like saying sorry, but then I felt stupid.
I tried to sit up, but I was sore to, so I laid back down into the soft bed. I closed my eyes, and then pictured what happened last night after the hug.
That was the best birthday.~
