Chapter Eight:
Kangin now sat in front of a grinning Heechul and a stoic Hankyung. “Okay so dish. How did you go from stalking me to Kyuhyun to the king of all pure thoughts?” he asked.

Hankyung scoffed. “You don’t know Jung-su well. I mean yeah, he’s a virgin but he’s far from pure. Back when we were in high school we used to fool around. He was always the one to get into trouble,” Hankyung said. Heechul choked on his drink. “Relax, Heechul, we didn’t have sex. We just experimented. And this was way before I met you,” he said, patting Heechul on the back.

Kangin stared at them. “I don’t see how your marriage will last,” he said.

“Hankyung knows me too well to let it get that bad,” Heechul said, kissing Hankyung’s cheek causing a few people to stare. “Anyways spill,” Heechul said turning his attention back to Kangin.

“Well…. I was attracted to Heechul because he was basically a girl with a dick and he was a diva, my kind of person,” he said before continuing. “Then you came into the picture and I went to Kyuhyun and he rejected me. I met Leeteuk and well, you know the rest,” he said.
Heechul rolled his eyes. “I knew that much,” he said.

“Well that’s all that happened. It wasn’t love at first sight or anything. He’s just hot,” Kangin said.

Hankyung laughed. “You should really invite him out to a club with all of us when everyone gets out of the hospital. You’ll be in for a treat,” he said and Heechul grinned.

“Hannie, make a bet with me. I bet he’ll be in Leeteuk’s pants within the week. If I win I’ll pay Kangin a hundred bucks. If I lose I’ll stay abstinent for a month,” he said.

Hankyung gave him a stern glare. “You better not lose,” he said making them all three laugh.

Leeteuk sighed, having been antsy all day. Kyuhyun was behaving and he couldn’t separate the RyeoMin pair. Yesung took a turn for the worse. He woke up but he puked blood all over the floor and himself before he began to hemorrhage. It too Leeteuk hours to get him back to normal. Once again he went out cold and left them with one heck of a cleanup job.

Ryeowook held Sungmin close to him still, having calmed down the elder and himself. He threaded his fingers through Sungmin’s hair, singing to him softly. “Hey, Min…..I’d rather you moved in with Chullie….I don’t and never will trust Kangin,” he said looking at Sungmin. “I would offer but I don’t want to hurt you anymore. I want you to be safe and Hankyung shii will keep you safe,” he said. Sungmin said nothing. He just enjoyed the comfort the younger was giving. He decided to sleep on it and deal with it in the morning.

Kyuhyun had gone to visit Yesung again. Even getting beaten to a bloody mess, Kyuhyun hated the fact that he worried over the other. He sighed as he sat next to Yesung’s bed, eyes narrowed in anger. He wanted nothing more than to scream at the elder, to rip the cords of the oxygen from the wall and let him suffocate, but he knew he couldn’t do that. He wasn’t afraid of getting caught, he knew that he was terrified to lose one of the only people he had ever had in his life.

“Yesung hyung, I came to see you again,” Kyuhyun told him. “I don’t know why I do since you were beating the crap out of me the last time you were able to walk. It’s been weeks since then and I’m getting released tomorrow.” He paused, not knowing what else to say. “I’d like to think that I’d come back and visit you, but I’m not sure if I would.” He stopped, looking away. Someone entered the room, startled to find Kyuhyun sitting there.

“Oh, I didn’t know he had a visitor,” the man said. He was dressed in hospital scrubs with a pale blue color to them. “I can come back later if you still want to be here.”

“No, that’s okay. I was just leaving.” Kyuhyun stood, looking down at Yesung again. “See you around, hyung.” He left the room, looking back to see the man sit in the chair he vacated. He had a smile on his face as he talked to Yesung. For some reason it made Kyuhyun smile. “So, I won’t have to worry about him after all.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kangin waved as Hankyung and Heechul pulled out of the parking lot at the hospital. They had dropped him off so he could get his own car and return home. He walked toward the entrance of the hospital, figuring he might as well tell Kyuhyun he’d be back to get him in the morning. He was glad that he was finally getting released. It saddened him that he wouldn’t get to see Leeteuk every day. He frowned as he walked down the hall. Entering Kyuhyun’s room, the younger smiled at him.

“Hi, Kyu. I just wanted to say that I’ll be back in the morning to get you. Last night in the hospital. It’s kind of sad,” Kangin said, sitting down in the chair.

“It’s only sad for you since you won’t get to see Leeteuk hyung anymore. Well, you can always get sick of break a bone,” Kyuhyun replied. The smirk on his face made Kangin scoot the chair back a little.

“I will not hurt myself just to see him.” Kangin paused before he looked at Kyuhyun. “However, if you happen to get sick or hurt, that’s another story.”

“Oh, shut up, hyung. You try to hurt me and I’ll sick Heechul hyung or Hankyung hyung on you.” They both laughed at each other before Leeteuk came into the room.

“Sorry to interrupt such a sweet moment, but visiting hours are almost up,” Leeteuk said. He was leaning against the door, a smile on his face.

“Well, I’ll get going then.” Kangin stood pecking Kyuhyun on the forehead before he exited the room. He turned to Leeteuk, instantly feeling nervous. “Uh, can I ask you something?”

Leeteuk pulled a pen from his pocket as he grabbed Kangin’s hand. He wrote something in his palm before he let go. “Call me sometime. It’s going to be rater boring without all of you here.” Leeteuk kissed his cheek before he turned and headed toward his office.

Kangin stared down at his hand, reading the phone number over and over again. He smiled, heading for the exit. Outside he nearly ran to his car, pulling out his phone. He dialed Heechul’s number. When he answered, Kangin practically screamed. “Leeteuk gave me his phone number!” he screamed. He was inside his car, nearly flailing at the thought. “I have his phone number and I didn’t even ask for it! He just gave it to me!”

After hanging up with Heechul, Kangin headed toward his home. The whole way there he hummed. Things were finally going well for him. He pulled into his driveway, climbing out and nearly skipping to the front door. His neighbor’s son was outside, playing his violin. He rolled his eyes at Kangin.

“Henry, don’t roll your eyes at me!” Kangin said, laughing. He held up his hand. “I got the phone number of the person I like.”

“Good for you, hyung,” Henry replied. He smiled. “It’s about time you found someone. If you get married, let me play a song at your wedding.”

“Most definitely.” Kangin waved to him as he entered his house. He shut the door and leaned against it, smiling. He stared at his hand, typing the number into his phone and saving it under ‘My Teukie’. He laughed at himself as he went to watch television.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sun spilled over the quiet hospital the next morning waking its patients and annoying its staff. Leeteuk was just arriving, having made a promise to himself to be there when all of the boys were discharged. He was just finishing up the papers for Kyuhyun when Kangin arrived to start signing them. He hugged Leeteuk and smiled, resting his head on his shoulder. "I didn't call you last night because you work too hard. That and I was chasing the neighbor's kid for laughing at me all night," he said reaching around Leeteuk to take the pen and start signing. Leeteuk would occasionally comment on where to sign, comfortable with their stance despite the stares.

A meek cough made them look at a blushing Sungmin. "Erm...... Kangin hyung I decided....... Thanks for your offer but I think I'm going to stay with Heechul-hyung until I can get my own place," he mumbled.

Kangin smiled. "Ryeowook asked you didn't he..... That's ok. I'll live knowing I offered," he said kissing Leeteuk's temple before going to get Kyuhyun. Leeteuk gave Sungmin a one armed hug.

"Let's get you to your room, bathe you, and see what we can do about getting you home too. Of course you'll have to get check ups on that broken arm and of course your ribs will need to be seen about too. I already lectured Hankyung on how to take care of you," he said making Sungmin smile.

"Thanks hyung...... Do I really have to get a nurse to bathe me though?" he whined cutely.

"Everyone that bathes here does, Min. I can't go around bathing you all," Leeteuk said making him pout.

"Fine," he pouted making Leeteuk laugh.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ryeowook gaped at the sight in front of him. Heechul was in a tight fitting black shirt, black miniskirt, and had blonde hair. "Um, hyung please tell me you haven't taken up cross dressing," he meeped, blushing.

Heechul laughed. "No, I lost a bet. You don't wanna know what I'm suffering with under this skirt. Oh and I have another bet going on right now so consider me a glutton for punishment," he said and Hankyung slapped him on the head for making Ryeowook look like he would pass out. Heechul shrugged it off. "Anyways. I'm going to go buy you a cake and a big thing of flowers since you're going to be later than everyone else getting out of this place. I'm not bothering with Yesung because I put him here.... I may get him a card....." Heechul mumbled off in thought.

"Anyways we wanted to stop by and say hello before we headed out to get your things. We're going to get webcam set up here and in Min's room because we're throwing Kyuhyun a welcome back party at my place. We wanted to at least kind of include you," Hankyung said making Ryeowook smile.

"Thanks hyung," he said. Hankyung nodded and they headed out before Heechul could protest.

Kangin was on his way with Kyuhyun to the check out desk when they saw Leeteuk talking with the HanChul couple. Kangin burst out laughing at Heechul's appearance while Kyuhyun only managed a "What the fuck are you wearing?!"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After all the initial excitement of that morning, Hankyung had set up a computer for both Sungmin and Ryeowook in the same room since Sungmin insisted. He gave Ryeowook his presents and headed out to buy all the party supplies. Heechul was out getting the alcohol since he claimed he was 'best at it'. He returned to find the place was decorated and set up. Hankyung just had to cook the food, if you'd call pouring it in a bowl cooking, that is.

Kyuhyun was at Kangin's for the time being, unaware of what his hyungs were cooking up. Everyone was invited, Hankyung and Heechul because they lived there, Henry, Kangin, Leeteuk who couldn't make it, Ryeowook and Sungmin via webcam, Kyuhyun since it was his party, and the EunHae couple. The only thing illegal in the whole house was little Henry. They were set to go.

"Hey Kyung. Call Kangin," Heechul said, before storming off in a fit yelling about thongs and girls being stupid.

Hankyung only laughed at Heechul’s discomfort as he dialed Kangin’s number. “Kangin, we’re all ready over here. Go ahead and bring Kyuhyun over.” Hanging up, he turned to everyone in the room. “They’ll be here in five minutes. Everyone get into position.” Coming back to hear only the last words out of Hankyung’s mouth, Heechul pounced on him. “Heechul, what are you doing?”

“You said to get into position,” Heechul replied, pecking Hankyung on the lips.
Hankyung rolled his eyes. “You know that’s not what I meant, Chul. There will be enough time for that later.”

“Oh, too much information!” Henry complained, covering his ears. On the computer screen, Sungmin and Ryeowook laughed. Five minutes passed quickly. Kangin showed up with Kyuhyun and they entered the seemingly empty house.

“I don’t see why you had to bring me, hyung,” Kyuhyun whined. “I’m tired and I just want to-”

“Surprise!” they all shouted in unison. Kyuhyun looked startled until he smiled at everyone. He looked around, just now realizing the decorations and everything.

“Thanks, everyone.”

“You’re welcome, Kyu,” Donghae said, walking over to give him a hug. “It’s sort of weird to see you without a hospital bed under you.”

“Let’s get this party started!” Heechul yelled. He took the remote and hit the play button, causing music to blare from the stereo. He ushered Hankyung into the kitchen, saying he needed help with drinks.

“You could have handled this yourself, Chul,” Hankyung said, laughing softly.

“Yeah, but then I couldn’t do this.” Heechul pressed his lips against Hankyung’s, leaning into him. They were soon pulled into their own little world, the music and people laughing disappeared as quickly as it all started. All they felt was each other until someone cleared their throat. Disappointed, Heechul turned to glare at whoever had interrupted them

“Hyung, Kangin hyung said you can’t beat him at beer pong,” Henry said.

“Oh, I accept his challenge!” Heechul left Hankyung in the kitchen, taking a case of beer from the fridge into the living room. Hankyung just shook his head, taking everyone else drinks.

A few hours later, Heechul and Kangin were both completely drunk. Their words were either slurred or jumbled together, which made everyone else laugh. Kyuhyun had helped Kangin onto the couch where he fell asleep almost instantly and Hankyung had taken Heechul upstairs before coming back down. He sighed as he looked at his living room.

“This is going to be a pain to clean up,” Hankyung grumbled.

“We can help,” Eunhyuk offered. He looked at the computer screen, seeing that Sungmin and Ryeowook had fell asleep.

“No, that’s okay. I’m going to clean it up tomorrow. Does anyone need a ride home?” When they all shook their heads, Hankyung sighed in relief. “Good. I don’t think I’d make a good driver anyway. Drinking half of the alcohol probably wasn’t a good idea for me to do. I’m going to bed.”

“Do you mind if Kangin, Henry, and I crash here?” Kyuhyun asked. Hankyung shook his head. Kyuhyun took the empty glasses into the kitchen before he went back to the living room.

“Since neither of us drank, Eunhyukkie and I are going to head home. See you tomorrow, Kyuhyun,” Donghae said. The two of them hugged him before leaving. Kyuhyun locked the door behind them and sat down on the recliner in the living room.

Kyuhyun had just closed his eyes when he felt someone tap him on the shoulder, he opened an eye, seeing that it was Henry. “What’s wrong?” he asked, stifling a yawn.

“I can’t sleep, hyung,” Henry answered.

Kyuhyun smiled as he stood up, directing the younger to the middle of the couch. He made Henry sit down before he nudged Kangin. “Hyung, Henry said he can’t sleep.” Even half asleep and drunk, Kangin repositioned himself, stretching his legs out in front of him to rest them on the coffee table. He pulled Henry closer as Kyuhyun sat down on the younger’s other side.

“Hyungs, you’re squishing me.” Henry tried to get up, but the elder two wouldn’t let him move.

“Go to sleep, Henry,” Kangin mumbled. He and Kyuhyun yawned, both falling asleep.
Henry pouted for a minute before he felt his eyelids getting heavy. “Silly hyungs.” He closed his eyes, finding it easier to fall asleep.

Hankyung woke up to the unfortunate sound of Heechul swearing at him and heaving in the bathroom. Usually Heechul wouldn't be suffering from this but the mixture of all the different alcohols didn't settle well when he woke up. He had a headache himself but it wasn't bad. He made his way to Heechul and rubbed his back, sitting down beside him in the floor.

Heechul groaned, glaring at him as he rested his head on the toilet seat. "You tell Kangin he owes me. I won," he said.

Hankyung laughed a bit and helped him up. "Come on, you'll be fine," he said.

Heechul complained, reaching down to pull the thong he was wearing off. "Never. Again," he growled throwing it in the garbage.

Hankyung tried to ignore the thoughts of Heechul walking around in that skirt with no underwear. "I'm going to go check on the others, get some more rest," He said kissing Heechul's forehead, heading downstairs..

Hankyung smiled, seeing Henry curled between Kyuhyun and Kangin. He didn't bother to wake them yet. He busied himself with cleaning the room up. He was nearly done with it all when Henry woke up, going into the kitchen and smiling at Hankyung as he took the last beer bottle off of the counter before Hankyung could throw it away. Hankyung gave him a look but let him drink it. "Your Umma's not having my head for that. Heechul bought it," he said.

Henry laughed. "That's fine Gege. I would offer to help you clean up but you've almost got it all done," he said smiling.

Hankyung rolled his eyes. "That's not your first bottle this morning is it?" he asked.

Henry smiled goofily. "Nope. I got up earlier," he said smiling. They heard a yelp in the living room and soon Kyuhyun frowned as he stomped into the kitchen.

"I do not like to be groped in my sleep. Henli why'd you get up?" he whined. Henry only giggled at him.

"Kangin was probably dreaming about Leeteuk," Hankyung said smiling.

Henry hiccupped and giggled, falling backwards off the stool. "Owwie," he said.

Kyuhyun rolled his eyes. "He's a happy drunk," he said smiling.

Kangin walked into the kitchen. He walked over to Henry as if he was going to help the younger up, but he grabbed the beer in his hand. Downing the rest of it, he handed it to Hankyung to throw away. “Your parents are going to kill me, Henry. Drink water,” Kangin grumbled.

Henry pouted up at him, crossing his arms. “You could have at least helped me up, hyung.”

Kangin pulled Henry to his feet before he went to Hankyung’s cupboard and got a glass. He turned the water on and let it get most of the way full before he turned the water back off. He handed it to Henry. “Start drinking it.”

Frowning at the glass, Henry drank some. “Why doesn’t Kyuhyun hyung or anyone else have to drink water?”

Kyuhyun patted Henry on the head. “I didn’t drink enough to get drunk and the hyungs don’t live with their parents.,” he said. “Besides, I don’t think Kangin hyung would have drank so much if Leeteuk hyung had been here.”

“He’d have drank more,” Hankyung said, laughing. “All for a chance to get into my friend’s pants.”

“Okay!” Henry said, eyes wide. “I’m going to go into another room. I still have my innocence, you know.”

Kyuhyun rolled his eyes at the younger before he stretched. “I’m off to visit Sungmin in the hospital.”

Kangin stared at him. “I’m going with you!” Hankyung and Kyuhyun just stared at him before they started laughing. “What? I just…I just want to…to…”

“You want to visit Leeteuk. We get it.” Kyuhyun steered Kangin from the room, stopping in the living room. “Henry, do you want to come to the hospital to visit my friends?”

“I can come? Really?” Henry smiled at him. “Of course I want to meet hyung’s friends!” Henry, Kangin, and Kyuhyun headed to the door as Hankyung entered the room. He was heading upstairs to talk with Heechul.

“Have fun you three,” Hankyung called over his shoulder as he disappeared upstairs.
