It seems roughly that long since I've posted anything here, and indeed since I've thought creatively or analytically about anything. Part of that is because Cal got strep, yet again; we have an appointment with an ear, nose and throat doctor on May 10, thank Christ, and I will push extra-hard for the idea that taking out his tonsils seems like it

And if she'd just transfer all her older stuff over to AO3 then things would be perfect, but I understand how hard that can be.;)

You might be happy to know that Blackchaps has actually posted several of her older stories to AO3 in the last couple of weeks, after you wrote this. It's like you summoned the Kraken with your powers or something! ;-)

By the way, I know that you'd expressed interest in participating in the Oziversary Fest in the initial poll conducted at the oz_wishing_well, so I just thought I'd let you know that the fest is up and running. You can read all the details here in the sign-up post

No problem at all! I'm always happy to hear from another Oz-ite, especially since the fandom seems pretty small these days. Dead show problems, et al. And yeah, I was really happy to see that blackchaps is putting her stuff up at the AO3, though I'm still going back and forth between there and her original site. More longform Oz is a necessity.

I've dropped by the Oz Wishing Well, but I'm not absolutely sure I can participate formally. If anything sparks, though, I'll definitely credit the prompt.

The decline in the popularity of LiveJournal the last few years really hit the Oz fandom hard. Sadly, the Oz people who left LJ didn't head to a new platform, but instead they seemed to drift away from the fandom altogether. (Blackchaps is actually an example of that.) There is still a core group of dedicated people here, though, who do a nice job keeping the flame burning, and the occasional new fan finds his/her way here. And several people always seem to come out of the woodwork to take part in the Oz Magi exchange at the end of the year.

Anyway, it's nice to see you writing fic for the show again! :-)

Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought. Well, the "Good Girl" bug is still working its way through me, so there'll definitely be more of that.;)
