Zzzzzzzz...huh? oh...yeah so I'm in the same place as I was last night. I got up around 4:00p yesterday afternoon. I called Krista to see if she wanted to join me in grabbing a bite to eat. She was just about to leave for her sister's in Dallas to eat and see a movie. She invited me. That was sweet ( Read more... )

HEROW STOP SCROLLING!! DO NOT LOOK!! detachme June 2 2002, 11:46:49 UTC
did you see it at school? people were being loud and stupid, but it was still ok. i didn't think it was anything spectacular. casting was horrible. pacino was a good cast, but thats about it. i decided to find out who did casting for that movie and never see any of the other movies cast by that person. i thought it was that bad. and. it was like a long version of special victims unit, without ice t. robin williams should not be psycho. nice try, but no.

when i say people were being stupid, i mean that when they show how robin williams is beating the girl, they're all clapping and yelling... how immature is that? how bad would someone in that audience feel right then if they had been beaten in the past? ergh. it pissed me off. but oh well. i shouldn't expect so much from college kids ; )

I'm in complete agreement with you!!! It was an ok movie, but definently nothing spectacular. The casting didn't get me so much as the REALLY corny lines at what could have been really good climatic emotional moments. That just drove me up a wall!!! Plus it dragged on for too long. And you are right, people were immature at the school showing...

yeah, i should probably go see it in a better environment before i judge the actual movie itself, rather than the casting... but you know...

I saw it just a two days ago in Dallas. I'm sure the stupidity of some students probably influenced your overall movie experience. True, the movie was not the best movie I've seen this year, but not the worst. I enjoy psychological thrillers. The movie was slow at times though. Being the psychotic was definitely branching out for Williams, but it was a good attempt.
