Six years in the academy to become a soul reaper, about a year to become a member in full standing of the Court Guard Companies, and then five more years before I was appointed to the advanced paramedic unit. (A lot of those five years was taken up by regular duties as opposed to just training, but that's how long it was before all the training was done.)
3. Is there anything you don't like about being a medic?
Of course, it's terrible when we aren't able to save someone.
It's also frustrating when people don't seek treatment or won't cooperate and follow instructions properly because of pride or whatever.
4. How many times have you been in love?
That depends on things like precise definitions of being in love and the difference between loving someone and being in love with them, so I would say that it's relatively difficult to be sure, but in general, probably between one and three.
5. What's your favourite place in the Nexus?
I don't have a particular preference. I think I like the main question area because there are a lot of chairs and the anti-violence field usually works. The mall sells a lot of interesting things, too. ^^

Kaa's Jungle is very nice, even with the heat. I suppose I would have to say that Tokyo in the living world is where I'm most likely to go with other things being equal, but that's kind of because it's where I've been most often, so it's where I'm more comfortable, so then I go there more often, and it's a cycle of... going there. (It's also nice that everyone speaks Japanese there.)
2. Do you ever cook? What's your favorite dish to make?
Yes, kind of! I like instant ramen and convenience store lunches.
3. Which do you like better, dogs or cats?
I'm not acquainted with very many of either, but I would probably say... dogs, unless they're big dogs, in which case cats.
4. What's different, when you aren't wearing your body?
My awareness is sharper, and it's easier to use spirit power. Other than that, it feels more or less the same. (Because of that, I sometimes forget I need to get into it and end up wasting time in the living world wondering why nobody is acknowledging me.)
5. Do people in Soul Society get married?
They do, but not as often as people in the living world. It's mainly restricted to the nobility.

Well... sometimes there are cases where people will say they need a paper cut healed or something, or a certain gentleman who used to come by all the time saying he needed sexual healing, and I would kind of prefer not having to deal with those kinds of situations. But there's never really been a case where I actually helped someone who actually needed it and ended up regretting it.
4) Switching that one around, have you ever not helped someone you should have?
Probably Mr. Ganju, the time he was injured by Captain Kuchiki... I mean, people were fighting and there wasn't really an obvious opportunity to get past, but I wish I'd been able to do something. I don't know what I would have done if he hadn't been all right in the end.
