Does being pink actually make things taste better, or do things that taste good just happen to be pink, or is it my imagination ( Read more... )

*can't think of anything to say to the first part* (what the hell is wrong with you?)

Uh, I don't think so. Why?

I was just thinking about it because I was drinking a pink soft drink the other day and it was really good, and I noticed that I tend to like pink food and drink in general...
So that was why.

No? He's really nice. He lives in New Jersey and has blonde hair. He's probably a little bit taller than you are.

*too bad everyone's taller than isamu*
*except hanatarou*
*and fourth-graders*

Mm, well, it's kind of like...
I didn't think about it the other day because it didn't seem like that big a deal at the time, but I would hate it if anyone ended up being unhappy because of misunderstandings or something, so... you know.
I mean, obviously you have Edgar already, so you and I aren't, like...
...
exclusive, right? (I hate to say it that way.)
I mean, it's kind of more open, right?

Perhaps it's a natural quality of the colour red in fruit that makes fruit taste well?

But what about something artificially flavored?

dimension_bitch February 24 2008, 09:55:14 UTC
Well, if they flavour it artificially, they must have had some example for the flavour, right?

But even things that aren't fruit-flavoured are sometimes pink, aren't they?

I think stuff that's colored tends to taste better because that's how nature wanted it. There's something deep inside of everyone's brain that tells them color = good. Explains why fruit's all different colors.

*oh, geez. should he be talking to an Arrancar? should he be, like, reporting this to someone? this is a problem, right? oh geez.*

What about people who are blind?

*don't worry. Wonder's basically harmless unless you do something to make him mad, like, kill a buttefly in plain sight*

Oh gee. He didn't think about that. "Um... usually blindness isn't good for survival, unless you mean those cave salamanders. I don't think they eat fruit."

... But there are plenty of blind people and animals who aren't dead, aren't there?
Besides, even if they don't eat fruit, the food the salamanders ate would still have some colour to it...

Oh, no? He's Japanese, and has hair that he styles... He's a little bit shorter than you, I think.
