Dude and I were at Whole Paycheck (Whole Foods) a couple of days ago. He told me he saw these two hippy parents with three or four hippy kids. Mom Hippy said to Kid Hippy, "C'mere, Starlight!"

Yeah, you read right. I really did type that name.

I wonder if Kid Hippy will grow up to be a business-suit-wearing accountant.

I knew a guy in college. When he was born his hippy parents named him "Redstar"

A few years later the drugs wore off and the realities of being a parent set in. The decided to change his name.

To "Lowell"

I think they should have stuck with Redstar

"Redstar" to "Lowell"? Oy. That actually sounds like street directions. But at least they sobered up and got rid of the nutty hippy name....even though "Lowell" kind of sucks, too......

(And at least they didn't originally name him "Brownstar".)

As for the kid, it might have been a nickname, Aislinn has many. Hopefully no one thinks her name is really Noodle, rofl
