Cool as Ice has been a free movie on On Demand lately.  This movie is so fuckin' hilarious that I can't even.  CAN'T.  EVEN.

It's too bad Vanilla Ice never really got his shit together because he's actually good looking and could have modeled (like he did in Madonna's "Sex" book) or been a back-up dancer or maybe even acted in some network

Have you checked out the Preferred Collection category in the Free Movies area? There is some great classic stuff in there, like Klute, Clockwork Orange, Cabaret, Arthur as well as some really cheesy stuff. All of it free! And a lot of movies to choose from too.

This weekend is busy! Tonight I'm going to Trannyshack's Stevie Nicks tribute night and one of those drag performers had better be performing "Edge of Seventeen!" Sunday is Sixxteen which is hosting a Tribute to Queen complete with a Freddie Mercury look-alike contest. I LOVE three day weekends!

Great seeing you, however briefly, on Sunday night. I wish I hadn't still been fighting the chest cold/sinus infection buzzkill. Oh well...

There is a black jacket that Ice wears in the movie later on that is just....*has to get up and walk away from the computer because I'm so overcome with feelings....okay, I'm now back to finish typing my reply*..... It has slogans printed on it. The back says "DOWN BY LAW" in huge, white letters and the rest of it has stuff printed on it like, "OH YEAH", "SEX ME UP", and "YEP YEP". I CAN'T HANDLE ALL THAT. *trembling*

Don't forget the Lizzie episode of What Not To Wear! They makeover a scientist geek who I'm pretty sure has Asperger's....something is going on there..... Holy crap. I think it's going to disappear on On Demand soon....

I haven't seen those four movies you mentioned, but I do like the sound of "really cheesy stuff" in addition to those four!

I'm hoping that you weren't able to pay attention long enough because of the work at the job, not because you weren't drawn in by the awesomeness that is Ice.

I think it was a combination of the workflow and the fact that the profound meaning of his complex performance is difficult to glean in short snatches during lulls in the action.

It's the buzzed in brickwork on the left side of his head that makes him The Hero.

I can't wait for that look to have a revival.
