Well, it has been an interesting week to say the least. This is my big overtime week at Promptcare but so far its been ok. This weekend will be the real test as I am working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8-8, lovely

the only thing that girls need guys for is basically all based on sexuality and issues of insecurity (i.e. dressing up to impress guys as opposed to wearing what you really want to wear *coughs*sweatpants*coughs*). and if you are a lesbian- you don't even need a guy. yes, i am becoming a feminist but not a lesbian. so, with that said, was mike serious? :) j/k (maybe?)
dr. a sent me an email today in response to my email telling her about sean, and she wrote "guys are like busses; another one comes around every five minutes." dr. a is soo right, hence why she is my advisor and mentor.

Love you, Holly! It is a tough thing to say that you don't need someone in your life, and it was equally as hard for me to realize as well. You're facing a new change in your life - grad school is tough, but rewarding, and I encourage you to focus only on yourself and what you want in terms of goals and your future. I wish I had done that my first two years at grad school, but it's never to late to change that for the better! You're going to have a blast this year, and yeah, you get lonely without a boy, but really, your friends are all you need right now. Embrace that. Have a great time in SC
