mmmkay so this is gonna be reallyyyyyy long, so if you don't wanna read it and you aren't bored outta your mind, don't click the cut! : )
SUNDAY// i left at like 2 to go to camp : ) i got there around 4-ish? my counselors were matt and katie. matts pretty good looking, but katie was a bitch and she was old and i don't like her. lol but lets see, everyone in my camp was--sarah(only the coolest most awesome girl EVER), rinita (another wicked awesome girl), hillary, brittany, and dawn for the girls. and for the guys--cory (wicked funny-baywatch/stripper/pole dancer), colin (another baywatch/stripper/pole dancer), andy, sam (hes perverted and gross) brian and chris (they were brothers). we got site 7 which is like the site farthest up the hill. shoot me. it was really wierd the first night. like no one talked to each other? but we ate spaghetti for dinner and had welcome to wanakee cake so it was alll good : ) then we went up to the cabin, had a fire and went to bed. lol. except no one in the girls cabin could sleep, we all got like an hour of sleep and thats it.
MONDAY// so we got up at 6 15 : X yuckyyy, thats like the one bad thing about camp...but we got ready and then the wake up bell rang at 7 and me and sarah left to walk down the hill. yep then we had morning watch (which is like 10 minutes long) at 7 30 and breakfast right after that. i had froot loops : ) it was yummmy. then after that we went to swim to take our deep end tests. they're wicked easy and i don't see why we have to take them every year cause its the same thing every year and it gets really annoying. so we swam for like 45 minutes then me rinita and sarah got out to go change. but when we got to the little changing house thinger which is like a latrine with out the hole, there was like a swarm inside of it, so we decided not change in there. instead we just changed in the middle of the woods and hoped to god that none of the guys came over. me and rinita are now professional woods/towel changers : ) yep so after that we played like 5 games of capture the flag, my team won like 2. we sucked. lol, oh well. it was fun still. then we went and did incentives with mike. that was wicked fun. we did trust falls off of the picnic tables and then off of the wicked high rock, it was really scary but it was soooo much fun. after that was lunch. nothing special there. then we played world cup soccer after lunch. me and sarah were spain and we won : ) yessssss. haha we beat colin : D it was an exciting game.then we had crafts with gary. we made cups, it was awesome, except mine is kid of deformed. hmm after that we went and got our stuff for dinner because we were cooking out. we made beef stew and it was really disgusting because katie added wayyyy too much pepper. but if you added a lot of salt it tasted okay. then we made dough boys. mmmm they are soooooo good : ) then we had tip tests but it was like 8 o clock at night by the time we even got out onto the water. so we were out on the lake till like 9. tip tests were so funny. our two boats were fine but the other two kept tipping over and over and not even on purpose. we had to wait for them for like ever. then we had to change in the woods again. it was interesting. then we walked up the hill in the dark because no one brought a flash light : X then we had snack and went to bed.
TUESDAY// so we woke up at 6 15 again and packed our stuff for a day on the Pemi. then we went down to morning watch and breakfast. we left like right after breakfast for the river. the van that i went in didn't have a radio so it was radio so it was really sad : ( but we made our own music : ) then we got to the river and we loaded all the canoes into the water. me sarah and brian were going to be in a boat together. it was really boring for a while. then we stopped and went swimming and we were like being carried downstream. this is where the whole baywatch thing comes in. cory and colin had decided that they were the baywatch lifeguards and me and sarah were the baywatch babes...it was interesting...then around lunch we traded canoes and i was with brittany and hillary, but me and sarah yelled up and down the river to each other : ) her cory and colin were having some interesting conversations about death. lol then we got to the place where mike and ken were picking us up about 5 50. we raced back to camp so that we could have some dinner. it was chicken and mashed potatoes...it was soooooooo good, we ate a ton of food. then the girls table showed the guys how your really supposed to eat dessert. with your face and hands that is, no utensils involved. it was funny. then we went to some show thing and a jazz band played, they were pretty good, but we were all wicked tired and just wanted to go to sleep. so after that we walked up the hill to go to bed.
WEDSNESDAY// so we woke up at 6 15 went to morning watch blah blah blah you get that part by now. so then after that we pakced out lunch and went to the ropes course with mike. it was sooo much fun. i was the second person to go on the ropes course. i love it. its got four different things that you go through. the tube net, the burma loops, the grape vine and pirates crossing. pirates crossing is the scariest but its also the most fun. then we ate lunch at like 12 30. after that katie wanted to try the ropes course...she didn't get very far. and we started the zip line. i went like third on this? its even more fun than the ropes course. you've got a full body harness on and you climb up a tree to the top of a forty foot platform. then mike hooks you into the rope and stuff and you just jump or sit and go off the platform. i did a super man off it. you free fall for like half a second then it catches you and you "zip" down tot he end of the wire. its so much fun but you get a really big wedgie : X after that we went to dinner. dinner was tacos, yummmmm : ) then after dinner we had our first showers!!!!! woohoooooo! it was a very exciting time for all of us : ) after showers we played buddy tag, which we re named killer buddy tag when brian slipped and hit his head on a rock. it was really gross. there was blood everywhere. ew. then we had to sleep in the fields. it was horrible. there were a TON of mosquitos. i didn't fall asleep for like ever.
THURSDAY// we woke up early the next and my face was wicked swollen because when i get bit on my face i puff up. it was horrible, i couldn't see out of one eye and it looked like i had a fat lip : X so then we walked up the hill to get our stuff for swimming. then we cooked breakfast, it was birds nests...i didn't really like it that much. i had toast after : ) then we went swimming. the water was wicked warm. then me and rinita pulled another woods change.after that we went and played captains ball for a while before lunch. then we had lunch. after lunch we went up to the cabin for a really long rest hour. it was fun, all the girls just sat around in the cabin talking. then we went down to the store to loook around. after that we had crafts with gary again. we made braclets. me and sarah traded with each other so i have hers and she has mine. then the thunder stopped so we were able to play swamp 'em for an hour : ) my team was me, rinita and sarah : ) we lost though. all of the guys ganged up against us and we were drenched. our canoe was filled with like 5 inches of water. it was horrible. then i had to run up to the dining hall to hop for dinner. dinner was chicken nuggets. it was really good. after dinner was the variety show. it was interesting. some of the acts were really funny but some weren't so good and were kind of boring. then we went back to the dining hall and had rice krispie treats for snack. then we went up to the cabins to go to bed.
FRIDAY// we got up early went to breakfast and then we packed out because we were going rock climbing. so then we drove the 45 minutes to sandwich notch. it was a fun ride. all the girls were in one van and we played MASH the whole way there. me sarah, rinita and hillary are all related. lol then when we got there we went in the caves for a while while matt and mike set up the belaying equipment it was wicked fun. i love going into the caves. its so much fun. then i belayed for a little while. then me and sarah went up on top of this big rock and ate lunch with coin and cory. then we played mash with them. i married colin : X it was scary. then i went down so that i could climb. i made it all the way to the top : ) it was exciting. then i went back into the caves with cory, colin, sam and andy. it was interesting. then we went down to this little river type thing and walked around for awhile. then we went under a waterfall. it was really cool. then we went back to camp. at every stop sign our whole van was screaming mikes name to see if we could stop for ice cream. they heard us the first time but they didn't tell us that we didn't have enough time until we were almost back to camp. we all had like no voice left. then we had dinner. it was pizza!!! haha yummmmmm. then we played captains ball for a while after dinner. then it was showers again. yesssssss : ) then we sat around for awhile before we started going back to the cabin. then me rinita cory and clements got into a water fight. i got soaked it was horrible. so we went up to the cabin and chnged then we went out to the fire. we sang alleluis then sarah had to leave : ( it was sad. she was like my best friend this week. she had a lacrosse tournament. after that we had shmos : ) then cory but on a strip show...haha it was wicked funny. i sat and talked to colin and cory for a while then we went to bed. katie fell asleep pretty soon. so me rinita, brittany and hillary all put our beds together. we talked for like ever about all the guys in the other cabin. it was quite interesting. haha. then we heard this wicked wierd noise a lot so we made gary come down (he was filling in for matt because matt had rolled his ankle and was at the hospital) and check it out and see if there was any animals. it was scary. but there was nothing. so then gary read us a story and we all fell asleep.
SATURDAY// so we woke up at 6 45 this morning and packed up alll of our stuff. then we brought it out to kaylon cause he was waiting with the truck. then we walked down and had breakfast.after breakfast we sang grace and peace then we just hung out until our parents got there. then i had to watch the footnotes concert cause of my sister. but me and alyssa just kinda walked around most of the time. then we left and went to remember when for lunch. now i'm home.
wow. that took a while, i started at 4 and now its 5 30. but i talked to colin and andy on the phone for awhile in the middle. that was interesting. well i'll update with pictures when rinita posts them so sometime tomorrow or monday probably. update later <333
