Myspace is a funny thing. I'm not a huge fan of it, I prefer Facebook, but it's allowed me to connect with some HS people, as well as (strangely enough) the older 20-something crowd. I mean, when you're standing in the youth minister's office talking with him and the music minister about "pimping out" your page...I don't know, it's kinda funny to ( Read more... )

haha, I agree that myspace is a funny thing. and definitely a tad weirder and sketchier than facebook. sadly enough, though, just about everyone I know on facebook is younger than me (and mostly all still in college, or just recently graduated), and everyone on myspace is my age or older.... so myspace probably is more the place for me now... :-/
anyway, I LOVED Class Voice!!! does Ahearn still teach it? I heart her. I took Class Voice I and II my freshman year, and then did private voice with Burton the other years. And I have to say that while private lessons are nice, and Burton was really great, I really think that I prefered the Class Voice over Private Voice.
Oh, and what is the title for English 385?

Yes, Ahearn still teaches Class Voice. I didn't take Voice I, but it let me register with no problems, so I guess they don't care? Maybe my years of chorus can count as Voice I, haha. But having your "testimony" about the class makes me even more excited for it!

And English 385 is Contemporary American Fiction. We'll be reading Flannery O'Connor, Jack Kerouac, J.D. Salinger, and other good stuff. It's with Dr. Stewart, who is new this year, but I had him for my senior seminar and I loved him!
