It's been a while since I had something to actively research.  I mean, automail was fun but there's only so far I can go with only books.  But really Ed... A laser? Do you realize how much apparently goes into these things? And I still have to wonder why you need these things instead of a flashlight...

But ah well. It's actually pretty interesting

It's some sort of little light. From what I've read they have to do with electrons switching levels really fast... I'll show you when it's done, if you want.
