I'm going to find time tomorrow and do it.

I'm getting a 12" PowerBook.

I have the money and have been debating for a long ass time. Like, long. Ass. Time. Since April. It's been insane how much I think about this at work. Everytime I'm not helping a customer, it's...15" or 12"? Combo or SuperDrive? 60, 80 or 100 gig HDD? Here's twat I want: 12" PBook with a 100 gig HDD upgrade, but stay with the Combo. I figure I can get a faster, cooler DVD burner for cheaper than the jump to a 12" Super. (Mac nerds: any thoughts?)

My reasoning. I don't really want to spend too too much; this already seems like a frivolous purchase (buyer'sremorseack!). I definitely want a big hard drive, so the base 60 is out. That leaves either a Combo + 100 or Super + 100.

I really don't think the SuperDrive is worth it on a portable, especially if I can get a faster (8x vs. 16x DVD burning) AND dual-layer external for about the same amount of the price jump. 'Sides, when am I going to be burning DVDs at a coffee shop and/or in class? "ZOMG lookit my iMoViE wanna copie?!!1" I'll be at home. RAM upgrades (to 1.25) will come later. Can we say third-party RAM?

The iMac will go to the parents/little brother and the Compaq notebook will go to middle brother. I don't need three computers. I'll also finally have a printer (woohoo printer rebate)!

Now it just has to freakin' get here once I order it. UHH. Instantgratificationnownownow.
