Okay, I need advice!

I’m a member of a LJ comm (space_wrapped) that does a Christmas count down fic fest. They've opened the prompts for claiming and posting doesn't start until the middle of December. One of the prompts is really calling to me and I really want to write it. The first scene appeared fully formed in my head just reading the Prompt! I kinda sorta know

Hey, I wanted to say thanks for the encouragement. I claimed the prompt and started writing and, well, the word count is already over 4k ::Blink blink:: and there are only a few scenes left. This story wanted OUT! and I was worried I wouldn't finish. So, just thanks!
