Saw a prompt on the A-Team Kink Meme tonight. Don't know why but it called to me. Typed something up but when I went to post it, somebody beat me to it, so I'll post it here. Prompt was: Murdock loves watching Hannibal smoke his cigars.

I always squee when I see you've written something, and I was not disappointed here! I love the connection between the cigars and first his grandfather, then death, then Hannibal. It's almost like a rebirth in a sense: he associates the smell with the passing of his mother, then his new life with Hannibal's team. One family to another. It really spoke to me and the fact that this was an unrequited love? It made it that much more sweet and sad and poignant. Absolutely love his little fantasy session, and just the way this flows. Great job!
