Mack Sennett
I've been looking at the Mack Sennett page on Wikipedia, since after bowling and ice cream today I began watching Chaplin again. If you start at his filmography and hold the scroll button down it's something like seven seconds before you reach its end.
My reaction was: early silent movies came out like blog posts today.
