what would i be afraid of? i havent called you or commented #1 because i was annoyed with you for pressuring me to ditch my job and inevitably get fired in order to come to your bday gathering in san diego and #2 because i just dont have the time or energy right now to have a "why arent we as close as we used to be?" convo. you are my friend and i love you but right now i need some space and a little bit of time. i have some problems im trying to iron out and thank you for offering, but i dont want to vent about them to you or anyone. its nothing personal, i havent been returning my sister's calls either. im sorry i didnt come to your birthday dinner, but i had to work. i tried to get out of it and i couldnt.

i didn't realized i annoyed you with "pressuring" you to ditch your job, the way you make it seem is that urban is just some bullshit job that you can do to make quick money, i figured your best friends birthday was just more important, but i guess i was wrong, i didn't know missing one day/taking a sick day can lead someone to getting fired? maybe on my end things look differently
