I LOVE getting attention - hence the singing, the am dram in my youth, the writing now - hell, even the choice of career. Any teacher who tells you they don't get an ego trip out of the job is lying... -
Handy Goes Gigging!
I hardly ever go out on a week night these days - too long in the tooth - but Mr Melon bought me tickets to see Ultravox on their reunion tour, and since I can still sing every word from every song on every album I was prepared to break the stayathome habit.

My full name is Amanda Helen.
When I was little my Dad used to call me "Mandy Helen" = Handy Melen.
I changed the spelling a bit and there we go.
