matt, there is an extreme difference between being silly and being immature. i feel that many teenagers really don't realize there is a difference or what being mature even means. now i dont meant to come off condescending and say how mature i am, but i feel that sometimes teenagers feel like doing things that adults do (i.e. smoking, drinking, having sex, being serious about things that have little importance) is what being mature is. yet on the contrary, being mature is much more than that... its a mind state, its how you act and treat other people...
