Well I've just purchased a ZEX Nitrous Kit for the Stang... 75 shot. I'm sure some of you will criticize nitrous, I've done it myself, but for 1000 bucks I haven't found anything that will give me 75 horse power. Now i can get new heads and cams and headers as well and still pay less then a Supercharger. I may eventually get a supercharger later,

sweet ass. yea NOS cant be pretty detrimental to an engine... but that's only if not done correctly. with new heads and cams and a good tune the only thing to worry about would be the rods themselves... but with only 75 shot go for it! whooo hooo!!!!

there was a _____ (haha i know that makes for a bad story not even knowing the car... but it was over christmas break and i totally forgot what it was... some nissan), on 150 with me and two others in my car.. and so of course i wasnt really gonna race with all my extra weight in the car.. but we did start going, and then me and josh both heard and then saw flames shoot out the tailpipes as he suddenly took off with much more acceleration. Me and josh both looked at each other and just went. *shrug* "nitrous. who knew!?"

so you can maybe do that to a few corvettes soon :p!!!

the weakest thing on the modular 4.6 is the intake manifold, i plan on replacing it when i can find an affordable aluminum one, and in the near future i am probably going to get ported heads with cams.
The engine for the rx-2 will be the 210 street port job because of drivablity and carboration issues with the race engine.

if i knew of a place i could afford to get a quality job done on my 3.8 (grr, wish it was a 4.6!) id be takin 'em there monday... got the intake manifold off last night and the heads off today and just finished scraping/polishing the contact surfaces so they are ready for their new gaskets... i just wish i knew a place i could get them machined, but alas i am a poor boy so it wont happen.

so does this mean i have to make a spot for a nitrous bottle now? cause i don't exactly have room for one... it would be much much cheaper and i could do a different cam as well.....

well if you still do a supercharger you would probably be faster, but yes it is alot cheaper... and i plan on doing other things as well. you could put 2 small nitrous bottles on top of your amp rack facing the center i bet.
