His eyes slowly fluttered open, scanning the dark room in a blurry motion, his head still felt heavy as before.
“I don’t remember ever going to the bed to lie down so how can I be here now?” Tsubasa thought, as he slowly tried to get out of the bed, but could not as his body condition is too weak.
Gripping on to the bed sheets tightly, he forced his upper body to move though he felt so dead exhausted, he ignored them anyway. As soon as his feet reached the floor, Tsubasa tried to stand up but failed, his body weight pushed him down, his hand accidentally hit the glass on the bed post.
The glass shattered to pieces just a few inches away from hitting him directly to the face. But Tsubasa who was now on the cold floor kept his position still, he made no effort to make any movement. He had never felt this exhausted.
He starts to feel drowsy again and was about to close his eyes when he heard a loud crash from his doorway.
“Tsubasa! Are you alright?” that voice suddenly asked him, a hand touching his shoulders.
But Tsubasa remained silent as he stared at the figure in front of him, he couldn’t find any words to say anyway.
“I’ll help you up.” Takki placed Tsubasa’s left hand on his shoulders as he carefully slides his right to the latter’s slim waist.
I’m not dreaming. Takki is really here, right here with me.
Even when he was back on his bed, his eyes never left Takki’s side, afraid that he would be gone if he looked some where else.
“Tsubasa, I’m here, you’re not dreaming. See.” He proved his existence by giving Tsubasa a slight grip on his hand.
“Takki…” his voice choked with numerous emotions as a single tear managed to leave his eyes that made Takki rushed to his side instantly.
“Tsubasa, I’m sorry. I’m not going to leave you again. Sorry.” Takki apologized sincerely as he wrapped his arms around Tsubasa, kissing his forehead gently, looking at his beloved so intently in the eye.
“Really?” he asked in a rather timid voice as he tried to look for the sincerity in Takki, forgetting the night that had tore his heart apart.
Takki nod, giving him a reassuring smile as he wiped the tear away, “Yes, I’m not going to leave you ever again. Not ever.”
He closed the small distance that separates them both as he felt Tsubasa snuggled closer to him, his hands remained intact where they were.
“I’ve never once stopped loving you, Tsubasa. I’ll always love you.” Takki whispered as his hands caressed Tsubasa’s cheeks ever so gracefully.
That brought a huge smile on Tsubasa’s face, a genuine smile ever since that night.

Tsubasa woke up to realize that he was alone in his bedroom, fearing the worst, he immediately got up, only to notice Takki poking his head from the doorway.
“Hmm, you’re awake already. I’ll bring you food then since you’ve not eaten anything for the past two days, am I right?” he asked ever so sweetly while smiling away like a fool.
“I don’t want food. I want you…” Tsubasa sulked, giving him a pout that he could not resist.
Chuckling happily to which Takki replied, “I’ll be back.”
“Takki…” he complained like a baby as he leaned against the board.

“I called up the management earlier to tell that you’re sick and they agreed to give you two days of rest.” He said, as he placed the bowl of soup on the table near him.
“You’re still going to work? Then I’m going to be all alone for two days.” Tsubasa complained even more, pouting yet once again.
“Baka. I got two days leave as well so I’m going to take care of my dearest Tsuba-chan!” he laughed at how child-like Tsubasa could be but at the same time able produce a confident image in public.
“Takki… Bed…” mouthing those short words when he could no longer stand him being so far away.
“Yes. Yes...” chuckling, Takki made his way to the empty space besides Tsubasa as he naturally put his arms around him.
“Ne, Takki… That night, why did you..” his words were cut short when Takki placed his fingers to his mouth.
“We’ll leave that for later, okay? But I promise I’ll tell you the reason why. Right now I just want to hold you like this.”
“You’re not going to leave me again? And tell me that you don’t love me anymore.” Tsubasa voiced out once again as his eyes began glistening with tears.
Takki felt sudden emotion in his heart for hurting Tsubasa, the pain he felt is nothing compared to the heart he had crushed. And at this moment he just wants to heal that broken heart. A broken wings that hopefully can be fixed eventually.
“All I know is that I’m never going to let you go again. You’re not going to lose me. We’ll be together, be it sunshine or rain, we’ll share them together. I’ve been a fool to let you go once. I’m not going to let go of your hand again.” He expressed from the bottom of his heart, looking at Tsubasa with so much love.
“Takki... I don’t want to lose you. It hurts so much. It hurts.” Tsubasa managed to say in between his sobs.
“Sssh, I’m not leaving you. I’ll stay by your side and be the pillar of your support. I’m sorry that I’ve hurt you a lot. I didn’t care about how you felt. I’m sorry I took a rash decision without consulting you. Because of that, I have so many things to apologize to you. Sorry,Tsubasa.” Takki felt the hot tears wetting his cheeks but took no notice of it, he was only hoping for Tsubasa’s forgiveness.
“Ne, Takki, whatever the reason you had, you don’t have to tell me. I trust you. I’m just glad that you return to me. That’s all that matters now.” Tsubasa said truthfully.
“Tsubasa, I love you. I really love you. I love you so much. I’m never going to let you go again. I love you! I love you!” he whispered softly, caressing Tsubasa’s hair gently, holding on to his body tightly.
“I love you, Takki.”

Author's Note: Oooh that seems like it's the last chapter right? But I think the next one is gonna be the last & final one. Yup, you've heard me right. Just one more chapter to go!! Told you this story is just gonna be for a few parters only. I have not written the next chapter yet so I have no idea how is it gonna be like.
I'll post the next chapter soon though, want to get this story over and done with. For me, school already starts! A new term so I'll be busy. But I promise you the last chapter by this week! Look out for it!
