I bring you the 2nd chapter of my fic!! Enjoy!! ^___^
Chapter 2 - A Facade
---
From that day onwards, Tsubasa stopped calling him, and completely avoid meeting him too unless it’s for work. Even if they have any unit projects on hand, he tried not to look at Takki in the eye. He fears by doing that he would probably break down in front of him thus spilling out all the mystery content in his heart.
I don’t want that to happen. I don’t want Takki to look down on me! I am definitely not a weak person! I can be as strong as Takki is!! I can’t possibly fall and cry in front of him!! I just can’t let that happen!
“I don’t care what other people would think. I live my life now in pretence. Only I exist in this newly created world of mine. A world that only revolves of Tsubasa Imai.” He thought in the back of his mind as he made his way to the shooting scene.
That was what Tsubasa thought or rather forced himself to do so, thinking that every action that he does was nothing but pretence. Others would probably say that he is a hypocrite, only pretending to be a good actor in public, not meaning anything that he said.
But in reality, Tsubasa is anything but a hypocrite. He is not putting on a show to send a message that he is such a great actor. Tsubasa is pretending, trying to sound happy to the fans when deep down he is filled with emptiness. He just doesn’t want anyone to worry about him. It saddens him to see that he is the caused of pain to others.
Tsubasa displays his genuine feelings by not being himself as a result of Takki’s cold treatment to him. Being honest is important to him but there is just one thing that can’t be shared with anyone. His heart.
It’s broken.
Do you know, Takizawa? That you have broken it? You’ve broken the most important thing in my life. My heart. You’ve broken it and now my life is gone. What is life without you in it?
I would have ended it without any worries if my lost would make you realize that I’m important to you. But I can’t. I have too many responsibilities that I have yet to take care of. Most importantly I don’t want to disappoint my loved ones. I don’t want to be the caused of their tears. I can’t possibly be that selfish.
But you don’t seem to care anymore, in fact you have stopped caring. Though it hurts, I still have to carry on without you even if I have to put on a mask every single day. I don’t mind putting on a façade so that it doesn’t hurts as much as it would.
Tsubasa was not his usual cheerful self, he has become quieter and only talk when necessary. Those who are close to him noticed this change of behavior and were worried.

“Takizawa-kun.”
He turned around to the direction of that voice, surprised to see Yamapi standing at the doorway with his arms crossed, making that silly grin of his.
What is he doing here? Don’t tell me he wants to give me some advice regarding that topic too?
“Yamapi, don’t expect to see you here. So what’s up?” he asked, hoping that he wouldn’t have to answer any questions from him.
But Yamapi was being himself after all. He never likes to go straight into things whenever he needs to talk about important stuff. He prefers to leave them to the very last. It’s easier that way, to him at least.
Making that ever so famous ‘Akira’ sign, he murmured, “Kon. Takizawa-kun, do you know you look scary when you’re so serious like this? Relax.”
“Yamapi. I really don’t have the luxury of time right now. So if you don’t mind?” he spoke in a serious tone and glaring at Yamapi at the same time
Sighing, Yamapi made himself comfortable by sitting on the sofa in the room, crossing his arms ever so casually.
“You should know better, Takizawa-kun, the reason why I am here. You of all people should know. Right?”
Takki changed his position, avoiding the younger one’s gaze, “What are you talking about? I don’t understand.”
There was silence for a moment. Neither spoke, nor looked at each other. Everything was so silent. It is as if there was no one in the room with that amount of silence in the air.
“Takizawa-kun, if you keep running away from your problems, you’ll never solve them. You should very well know that. And as a friend, I want you to face it.” Yamapi finally said, breaking the silence immediately.
But he remained silent, he doesn’t want to slip out something that Yamapi shouldn’t know. No one should know.
Yamapi’s voice seemed louder as he came closer to his senior, putting a comforting hand on Takki’s shoulder, “I don’t know what happened but you should talk to Tsubasa-kun, he’s breaking.”
Takki looked up instantly, that particular last word caught his attention, “What do you mean breaking?”
“You should see for yourself. I’ve got to go. See you.” Flashing out a assuring smile, he walked out of the room
Is it true, Tsubasa? That you’re hurting, and suffering for all my actions? I’m really sorry.
But you can’t know about it yet.

Tsubasa plopped himself to the bed once he entered his bedroom, his head facing the cool fabric of bed sheet.
“I’m so exhausted!” he murmured to himself, his eyes suddenly felt heavy, and his body aches all over.
He was about to fall asleep without even changing into a new pair of clothes when a ringing tone could be heard.
Grumbling silently, Tsubasa fumbled through his pants pocket to retrieve his cell phone and without even bothering to look who called, he replied instantly in a very irritated voice, “Hello?”
“Tsubasa-kun!”
Recognizing that hoarse yet sexy voice, Tsubasa jumped up into a sitting position, shocked with the sudden call from one of his juniors.
“Kame? It’s Kame right?” he asked but hit his head softly when he realized how dumb he is acting
What a stupid question to ask!
Kame chuckled softly, wondering how his senior can be pretty dorky sometimes. But that’s how Tsubasa-kun is special in his eyes, for being himself.
But recently, Kame noticed that Tsubasa wasn’t being his true self. It seems that he was putting on a façade to hide his true inner feelings. Confiding in Jin about this matter, he hoped that they could give a lending hand to their senior. Obviously Jin couldn’t help but tell his best friend regarding this matter too.
“Haiz, but still Pi can’t get any information from Takizawa-kun. What really happened to those two?” he thought, forgetting that he was still on the phone with Tsubasa
“Moshi-moshi? Kame?” Tsubasa finally voiced out after a moment of silence
“Ah, I’m sorry. Guess I just spaced out for a while.” He replied honestly.
“Are you alright? Is this about Jin and you?” Tsubasa asked, curious to know the real reason why he called
Shaking his head, Kame replied, “No, nothing like that. I was thinking that we should go out one day. We’ve not met each other for so long now. Well if that’s okay with you.”
Then won’t the meeting be all about Takki and me? It’s true that I’ve not seen Kame for some time now .We were always busy with our individual activities. But since Kame is like a younger brother to me, I can never say no to him.
“Won’t your boyfriend be jealous if we do meet up?” Tsubasa could not help but tease this younger man that he adores.
“I know Jin wouldn’t mind me spending some time with you, Tsubasa-kun. I do need my own space sometime.”
“Yes, I understand. I’ll try looking through my schedule then. See you.” And with those words, their conversation ended. Tsubasa suddenly realized how quiet his bedroom appears to be, it feels so lonely to be alone.
I’ll have to live independently without you by my side. I need to survive.

Author's Note: I hope you don't mind me putting Kame, Jin and Yamapi as minor characters. Coz only writing about Takki & Tsubasa without those trio is kinda hard for my situation. They can't be alone. They must have someone supporting them in the midst of their almost broken friendship and so that's where the juniors comes in. They will kinda give a hand to fix their torn friendship, encouraging them all the way. But only Kame and Pi appeared on this chapter though. Don't worry, I'll include Jin too in later chapters. I'm an Akame fan too. *cough*
I updated quite fast right? I've mentioned previously that I've already written the few first chapters of this fic. So all I need to do was some editing. That is so necessary. I don't want readers to read a chapter that has loads of mistakes! It may not be perfect but at least I tried not to have any mistakes. Okay, I'll stop here. ^o^
